People shouldn’t have to sit and hope that the btx price tanks, in order for them to get payed more for their promotion effort of btx. Seems counterintuitive to me.
Or feel bad when btx price goes up, because they are getting payed less for their promotion effort of btx.

Also I agree that reward for promotion should be a fixed amount of BTX. That is the same reason I mine BTX - maybe there are sometimes more rewarding coins in $ value, but I believe those BTX I mine now can have much higher value in the future.

Regarding the change from pure BTX to a $ value of BTX. It works both ways.. I've been a manager for a few other coins too and when they have been doing bad (it happens, a lot) people usually come to me complaining about the lower rate they are getting in $ terms.. When the coins has been doing good not a single person has come to me telling me that perhaps we should lower the payment.

Besides, I am managing this campaign and that does not mean that I get to make executive decisions. I do stand behind this one though and I feel it is something more campaigns should do. The reality is that we are paying for advertising and there are always budgets in place and it gets a lot easier doing it in a set amount rather than a fluctuating one.

The easiest would have been to just have it the way it was at first imo.
Now you do have a fluctuating $ ammount as you said, that you have to recalculate for 5 different member classes every 2 weeks. While everything was a nice set ammount at first
And I would have thought the budget for marketing was allocated in btx and not $.

Like I said, no real biggie for me. And finally it’s up to the devs.
Just a little concerned about the incentives in place, for the promoters do to a proper job.
I mean as it stands now, you get payed more in btx, if you do a lousy job at promoting.
And get payed less in btx, if you do a good job.

I will not force anyone to stay in this campaign against their will. If you do not like the payout and feel like you should get more, feel free to leave . This will be the last I say on this matter about the new rates.

The admin of the campaign, in my opinion, has every right to change the rules if he believes it is necessary. It's his BTX at the end of the day he is kindly rewarding us with, so I am happy with this. After all, if we are active on this forum we would most likely post regardless of the campaign....
