Yes, it's a "dead" coin. No, you wont get rich.  But it is a fun coin to experiment with!  The difficulty 0.000244137.  So low you can CPU mine coins right in the client. Old School!

If you are new to the particular coin, know that the client takes a LONG time to come up when you start.  Sometimes as long as thirty minutes! So start it, then go get something to eat.  It will be ready when you get back.

Yes the network that forks out will be dabbed Elephantium and have the oracles packed in. We will be able to move across the chains in a seamless fashion with gracious leaps while preserving full anonymity throughout. These guys behind the coin also seem to be heavily invested in maintenance and preservation of authenticity of the codebase coin uses as is seen on github. I doubt though that they have any headquarters, it is more likely that its just one single guy trying to tap into the outside world from his moms basement.
