I absolutely agree with the author! In this area, there is simply no fast money. There are of course projects that promise 100% profit per day and they are called a scum Grin

Patience is a Virtue!

You hodl and wait for the big profits to come in. A prime example is Bitcoin holders. Some users have had Bitcoin from the days when Bitcoin was just $100 and today Bitcoin is almost $18,000.
This is how you get rich. By waiting for the perfect opportunity.

Weak hands are always going to sell, strong hands will accumulate more. I dont think that is a good advice in general to just hold. We must always do research and evaluate a project and then decide if we believe in it and its therefore worth holding or if not.

Generally speaking OP is totally right, its really problematic how people in this space expect almost immediate returns from their investments, they arent even satisfied if their investments yield is "only" about 10%. If you think about it its crazy, no investment works like this. Warren Buffet, and everyone else in the "real" financial world, would laugh hard at all those people here requesting instant returns.

One simple piece of advice would be to HODL!!! No profit in selling constantly.

Quietly it's correct.Always be patient of everything, especially on trading bitcoins. You can only earn more profits if you have this kind of personality.Think of it that all successful business man had to wait and even lose profits while they were starting their business.Nothing is easy especially on bitcoins. You have to work hard so that if the time comes that you make a big profit,it is worth. You make proud of yourself.

Hi,

I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit..
After 14 days the price is dropping..

They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them  Grin)
My answer.. Just wait!

- Developers can't work 24 hours a day
- don't check the twitter or ANN every hour  Wink
- a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient..
If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.

In most cases, long-term retention of coins brings a lot of profit, but this is not always the case. We need to closely monitor the price changes without panic to sell coins at the right time and get a good profit.

For coins which are already in trades for quite a while, holding them for long since they are falling, may not be a good idea keeping your money stuck and falling everyday.

Better take out money and invest in other to gain some profit. Now your trading skill also count before doing above Tongue

its hard to resist not selling at 5000usd when you brought it at 100. I dont know howmany normal people hold from 100 to 18000?

but in my view key is when you invest , you have a target.. if you get it exit with profit  ad may be you keep 50% of coins are no selling category.. but stillyou dont sell it one points .. its as good as gold in locker.. no use to you and some one related to you benefit.

Thumbs up for your comment here and I think those that panic quickly can learn from this. Do not sell your coin when the price go down try to hold till you make huge profit.

I agree to this. We need to be patient in waiting and holding our coins and we should be patient in waiting for the profit because if we will rush things over and just be faking for the contentment of the profit then it will not bring any good result because it will just lead for disappointment so it is better to be waiting rather than regretting.

I would just invest in a coin and then simply hodl it and wait for profit that way. Especially if its a coin that has potential to increase over time.

Its normal for the price coin entering the trade market to go down because of bounty campaigns allocation. Many of them sell immediately to get what they work for serveral weeks. This is the reason why I suggest to the managers of bounty ICOs freeze the token to protect the price of token from really large dumping and encourage more investors and traders to look at this token.

I'll say the same. Being patient is really needed to get much more profit. In the crypto world,  patience becomes the first priority as the price of bitcoin is very volatile. We can't definitely predict the bitcoin's price. What we just need to do is wait,  see,  and react.

If you want to get the profit you want, you should not expect what you invest, because if you expect what you have invested, I am sure you will not get what you have invested in the future.

What you are describing is speculators instead of investors. Speculators are what cause the crashes in the first place. Investors are what makes a project viable in the long term. Speculators are basically gamblers, in reality in crypto so very few people invest for 1 year+.
