I just learned to be patient the hard way. Got 6,000 tokens of a certain project and once it hit 0.00005 ETH after a month of being low I immediately sold everything. In a matter of days it was at 0.0004 ETH. Lesson learned and from now on I'm going to refrain from looking at the prices every single minute.

Patient is vertue, if you can wait and you realy bilieve in the currency that you have been invest then you have to wait until the price goes up usualy a lot a few months or a year before the price of a coin will grow up and matured ang makes profits in investors. So patient is vertue.

It depends, which project are you talking about and which period of that project are you talking about? If the investors invested according to an update or an upcoming announcement they dont have to wait for 1 year. They can try and exit in short time as well.

Hi,

I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit..
After 14 days the price is dropping..

They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them  Grin)
My answer.. Just wait!

- Developers can't work 24 hours a day
- don't check the twitter or ANN every hour  Wink
- a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient..
If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.

Yes, that's what I did at the first weeks after I received the stakes or coins from a Signature Bounty Campaign so I freaked out because the price is really tremendously dropping and my coins will almost have no value at all but this time I'm freaked out more not because my coins have values but the price is really spiking to the top and I couldn't imagine that I will become a Millionaire because of this.

Absolutely, after the campaign it is not easy to think will the coins we receive will have a good value after few months or a year so it is confusing whether were going to dump the coins or not. Seeing our coins that values and prices aren't increasing then we started to feel that our time joining that ICO is wasted but it's not the same cases because some of my coins are increasing and the devs and staffs are really performing well.

Be patient, but also do not fool yourself and realize when a project is just stuck and doesn't really have a future.

Patience is a virtue, it is true and holding our coins a long as we could is the most clever decision we ever made by our future self because we are not the on who could turn the price in our own will but the market and traders will.

I think that only the smartest and most competent trader can tolerate and hold. I do not know what is in his head but his vision makes me admire. I advise everyone to just HODL!

To be calm you need to have a lot of trading experience. It is necessary to understand the laws of market and the nature of crypto. But it is very difficult to remain calm while you see the grand correction at the first or second time. But in a few quarters you will be more experienced than now Smiley

Patience is the one that is required to make a bigger profit with the cryptocurrency. When one has the patience he too makes perfect decisions in the buying and selling of assets. The same is not possible with the people who are highly focused, but doesn't have a perfect understanding about the cryptocurrency.

That's right you just wait, in investing ICO's you need to wait for more than a month or maybe extend another month, investing is need patients and open minded for being what is possible happened. So, all you have to do is wait and relax then monitor them if you wan't or what the status of the project you joining for. And the right time come you've see you're profit a lot.

i always try to be patient like professional investors everytime happens in trading, but it is easy to say then to do, many people affraid they gonna lost all money so they sell their coin to cut lost, they accepted to sell and regret when they see the price rise higher than before. so the lesson here is patient is the key to all actions.

As a matter of fact, patience is literally equals profit in crypto. The work is not in investing or trading, the real work after you have invested is ability and the discipline to wait out your investment to profit!

actually if you want a high profit in every bounty campaign you need to join in a long term campaign. and when the campaign ends, 1 to 2 weeks before you can get your wages. so long patience is really needed.

You talking about an project or in general?
I think that mostly newbies are getting impatience because i see that most of them think that if they invest 10 cents in crypto they will get righ over night.
The gains in crypto are huge as they are right now and i dont understant why they are so greedy. A not so long time ago when the only investement option was the stock and an increase in 1% was considered huge they complained that it is very hard to trade and now when you can get 2-3 % over night they are not patiente.
Thats why some people will keep loosing theyre money and will keep asking themself why they are poor and some will gain nice profit.
Patience is the key and research.
Bro in stock exchange 1% stock variation with 200:1 leverage is too damn high. But in crypto trading leverage is usually only 3:1 which is nothing compared to stock.

Yes, I agree with you. But sometimes you want to fix profit and then buy cheaper. It does not always work out as you want. Some coins I can not sell even when they show growth. Since I understand that one day it will not fall after the rise, but will continue its growth. And then I will lose profit.

As in the thread title, patience always gets you winning profits. This is not the real fact with digital currencies, but the real fact suits each and everything in the real world. This cam be experimented through a targeted holding period, surely the user finds a growth in value with regards to time period.
