I think shilling and FOMO on social is having a huge effect in the US. Most of this take is pretty anecdotal based on what I see in my network.

Social media also spreads news and information widely and rapidly so that Bitcoin will grow more because of social medias influence in people. So social media is a big factor for Bitcoins growth. Definitely when things are trending in social media a lot of people are getting curious with what it is people tend to get motivated or hyped up and try to do the things regarding what is the trending. Especially when they know they can earn from a simple yet really complicated investment of you don't the basic rules about it. Also now that advertisements revolve around social media now many people can what is bitcoin.

Yes, they do support bitcoin growth because, in facebook there are so many ads about bitcoin there, and its not just in facebook even in twitter the ads all over them, and the community is interested so far so it is a good way for bitcoin to be advertised making it grow even larger.

Of course, it affects the bitcoin growth. Whenever, you will see bitcoin reaching $10000 or $15000 , there is media coverage and price will jump more.

Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth?

see the Bounties (Altcoins) they focus a lot on Social Media, this because the social averages have a huge power in terms of spreading the word and of course bitcoin is what else benefits from it.

Of course, it affects the bitcoin growth. Whenever, you will see bitcoin reaching $10000 or $15000 , there is media coverage and price will jump more.

it even makes me laugh, it seems that cointelegraph and cryptocoinsnews are competing, every time the price rises sharply we have cryptocoinsnews announcing first and then we have cointelegraph that already makes an article with more details.

in facebook there are so many ads about bitcoin there...

and also has many ads from hiyp/ponzi  sites, unbelievable that as time passes the ads tend to increase

Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth?

Everything that gets hyped on social media gets known by the regular people in no time. In altcoin bounties, there's a social media campaign and you literally have to spam each and every post of theirs. You have to share it, like it, and comment on it. With you regularly posting about a certain coin, it will surely be known by people. In my place, getting a job from the bitcoin world has become so known that people already know that the people spamming advertisements on facebook are just doing it for their job.

Is social media influencing bitcoin growth. Yes, it is. Maybe you are not just having so much of it. But once Instagram models and international celebrities started to get paid to advertise ICOs, you will surely see the results. DJ Khaled has been advertising an ICO back then, same as Dennis Rodman. Those people aren't "too big" on social media but they surely did hit some of the huge news pages especially Dennis Rodman who was advertising POTcoin which is a coin that's aimed to be used for the buy and sell of weed.

Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth?

maybe it is. but im not totally sure. Because what I know is, interms of social medias, it can be implemented in all countries and many people may see. This is also a way where many people first saw and read about cryptocurrency.  In terms of this, the people who knows crypto, convince to create or join one of the things that related in cryptocurrency that cause the demand of crypo gets higher that can also affects of increased in the market value of this.

Of course it does. Social media is a big help in the growth of bitcoin. Bitcoin is advertised in social media and many people are getting informed about bitcoin. Some investors in bitcoin are also informed in social media. And the bitcoin community gets bigger and bigger through the help of social media. As our community grows, so is the demand in bitcoin.
