Feeling upset is perfecly normal. We all have done stupid stuffs. The market is not in our control and unexpected things happen. It's hard to precisely predict what will happen and we are not omniscient. We cannot see everything happening in the world. This may serve as a lesson but like what I said, things occur unexpectedly. There will still be things that we may regret in the future but we can prevent to makw bad decisions if we don't let our emotions control our minds.

This is my mistake, definitely like that. I can't blame anyone.

I don't complain, i post here just relieve stress. I didn't  tell anyone about this, including my wife.

The next time you do when you feel like selling (at loss) is pause for 10 seconds and think that what you are goin to do is not a good decision. Before you entered trading, you should have taught yourself to control your emotions.
Never ever sell when your at loss.

The next time you do when you feel like selling (at loss) is pause for 10 seconds and think that what you are goin to do is not a good decision. Before you entered trading, you should have thought yourself to control your emotions.
Never ever sell when your at loss.

Good tip. Eventhough we all know this basic rule of 'do not sell at loss', there are certain times when our emotions takes precedence over patience. isn't it? but ofcourse, we'll get there by experience

This is happening when you don't have that much trust on the coin you bought. And this experience is inevitable, we are all prone to this mistake by not being calm with our trades and we all want an instant profit. When you trade, just be confident on the coin you buy, take time before selling it. I'm sorry about that, It's true that not having patience, And  being stressed  doesn't  help  in situation like that, You just have to learn  from you mistakes  and maybe  do better  the next time. Just remember  that Rome wasn't build in one day

You do not have to beat yourself for a mistake that you cannot change. Everyone has once made this mistake of impatience before, and the only best thing you can do to yourself is never to make it again which is one of the reasons I have learned to hold and until recently that I started trading and really know what I am doing which still has not stopped me from holding some coins for as long as I can.

Trading is not easy, you have to be very patience, keen and wise in dealing, in selling your coin, and determine, you may free bad about it, but at least your learned something, sometimes the price gets high sometimes is too low it's too tricky and tempting. What you gonna do are you going to sell some and hold some? your experience now make your more wiser than before.

I used to do quite a bit of swing trading (continuously buying at low points then selling at high points, buying again, etc). But i realized it actually doesn't lead to much profits doing this short-term, and i missed a few boats when I sold and the price suddenly zoomed up. I suggest buying at low points based on the trade chart and keeping coins for a month or so instead of continuously swing trading

For myself i made a strategy to HODL and not refresh crypto everyday, so i just refresh once in a while and hodl like a god , i suggest you to not pay attention to missed opportunities and just buy and hodl.

I think that all of us have done some "stupid" stuff like this. My personall example is that i bought eth when it was 8 $ and sold at 17$ all of it. Then i bought ETC and sold it. Had some litecoin too, NEO and sold it with 14$ and much more.
But i dont regret it that much because over all i made profit from those coin, this being a non-holder stratedy. Now i changed this strategy and i want to increase my portofolio and become a holder.
I avoid thinking at the money i could`ve made from holding all my coins because this would make me sick. Instead i focus on the future and the gains that this crypto world can bring me.

You said it right. We should not dwell in the shadows of our mistakes. Instead, we should learn from them and move on with an optimistic mind. This is the only way we could truly recover from our disappointments.
