You just need to control your emotions and not do hasty actions. It was silly to sell ETC knowing that there will be a fork of coins. And in general, now it is not worth selling. You need to sell when the market grows.

You should share your thoughts with your wife. Maybe in the future it will give you advice on trade and you will make decisions much more competently than you did before Smiley

The OP doesn't tell his wife about this maybe because his wife can never give advice if she don't have even an idea about crypto. It's only those people who know about this matter can give him advice and could somehow relieve his stress.
I think it must be good to share about it a wife can give more valuable advice related to bitcoin, as much as I know bitcoin is about discussion and if one share about bitcoin with each other they will get better out put this way along with releasing stress you will be able to make good profit as compare to thinking only and taking stress about it, so share and no need to be disappointed about anything.

I know this kind of mistakes. When I was a beginner, I also made them. Now I understand that the reason for these mistakes was my lack of confidence in the crypto currency. Now I'm an experienced trader and I understand that I must always keep calm. Even if my portfolio is bleeding I know that soon there will be growth and therefore don't sell coins with losses, but only during growth periods Wink

I think we learn from our mistakes and you've made two telling mistakes and im glad you felt the pinch pinch o what they cost you, its now time to let the regrets go and move on, you are right, the market is here to stay, just hold a little longer next time and get your reward. trust your guts again and always stay positive.

So I am but if it was so easy every body would be millionaire, everybody should follow my post because everything I do is the exact contrary of what should be done, what I learn in this tear of crypto is that i should not touch anything and hold my coin

I'm extremely depressed about my impatience and persistence.
I'm a stupid man. Fuck myself.
I bought the ETC when its price was 15$, i kept it for three months, including when it down at 9$, I still don't sell, because i believe it. And when ETC rise to 15$. I sold everything and waited it down $ 13 to buy more. But, fuck myself, the next day it rise to fucking 30$, Are you kidding me?
I bought 5000 XRP from May, i still believe it, I bought more yesterday, I bought when its price was 0,00001610sts, and when it down 0,00001558, i afraid BTC up, XRP down. So i sold everything. And... This morning I woke up with a sense of chest not say words.

This is my mistake, definitely like that. I can't blame anyone.
I told myself, "The market is still there. Nothing to hurry"
I don't complain, i post here just relieve stress. I didn't  tell anyone about this, including my wife.
Thank for listening.
That is a hard lesson for you my friend. But the good with it is that you did not lose any money. You only profit less i think. But this is not the end of everything, opportunity will go back and don't fall for the same mistake again.

Market is constantly great saying goes! I am yet to meet anyone who dependably hit the nail on the head constantly. You win a few and you lose a few. It is great we have a place like bitcointalk forum where we can spill out our disappointments from our mix-up and terrible choice.

It is a sore subject for all of us, and at the same time exciting. I, of course, too unpleasant to remember those moments when I do not having experience on the exchanges has lost quite a lot due to the underestimation of the coin, because of my haste. Now, having a little experience, I understand that it is not necessary to worry much. The main thing is health and happiness, and experiences take away health, nerves and sometimes even faith in the future.

Well who doesn´t make mistakes is the one who never tries. Now you've become more experienced and won't make such mistake in the future. Just keep trying and don't worry.

I pity. You have a lot of bad decisions lately but that doesnt mean that would do the same for your next trades. I have a solution for you but this could be mean, anyways Im gonna tell this. Your an unlucky man so maybe you can tell us what is your next move and we will do reverse. I think that way is more better than RSI,MACD or fundamental analysis. Peace out!

I feel you brother because there are times that I am thinking of selling my coins that I am holding for a long time but I am saying to myself "I know that it will rise. I know it will". Right now I am holding XLM for at least a month already. If I sell them, I will be at a loss but I am patiently waiting for it to rise again to its price 1-2 months ago. Now what happened to your must serve as a lesson to you that you must be patient in holding coins because you don't know when they will rise again.

all I can say is to be patient, everyone will surely make a self-defeating problem. but I am also a little annoyed with what you experience, because what you do is very wrong. so that would be a lesson for myself and others who read this story.

Unpleasant mistake, it's good that I already read about such cases before I started investing myself. Now my portfolio is in the state -20% of the moment of buying, but I do not even have an idea to sell something. I have invested to make a profit of at least 200% and I will wait for this moment even for several years.

Well, I believe that "investing" refers to more than just money. It involves time and patience.
I am sorry for your sadness, but I believe there is still hope. Instead of pursuing this state of constant frustration, you can choose to not think about it every day. If you have crypto, don't check the price every hour. Do something for your soul, read something of interest, or just enjoy nature.

Better days will come.

that's a lesson learned. next time when you're faced with the same situation, you'll know what to do. we commit mistakes along the way and don't let that mistakes pull you down. bitcoin will still be present tomorrow so, just make it up and decide better on the future.

Well, all people make mistakes. This is one of the major problems in investing in cryptocurrencies, volatility is the major reason why we're guilty after not hodling to our coins, due to panic selling after a major drop-rate value. The best advice that I could give is probably don't do panic buying nor selling. Hodl on for a longer tiime. Don't give up  Smiley

In the market, crypto currency needs to have a very strong patience. And never give way to panic. If you are an investor, then just wait for the price that suits you and then just sell it. Ability to wait is a very valuable skill.
