I have no record that the beginning of the year is especially difficult for bitcoin, and given the boom bitcoin is having in the big markets, I think it is more likely that the current upward trend will continue for a considerable time, obviously with the continuous corrections that this volatile market has as a hallmark, although we could also see a fairly stable market and a slowed increase after the accelerated growth of bitcoin in 2017.
I'm flattered by your thoughts about bitcoin.
I'm sure the bitcoin price will increase even more than before.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I see that by the end of 2017 bitcoin will experience a dump, because sales will increase rather than purchase. and in early 2018 I predict the price of bitcoin will return pump and increase. as more and more investors are ready to buy bitcoins.

In the stock market that usually happens for tax reasons, not sure if the Bitcoin market will experience the same thing.

Right. At least not in short term.

I think that Bitcoin is having good past and was the most popular and expensive coin of 2017. It seems that in 2018 it will rise further and will be at its position. Experts says that it is unstoppable and if you buy it then your future will be secured.

I think Bitcoin price rise is likely to happen at a much slower pace in January 2018, and i believe that prices would trade between $15,000 to $30,000 range for much of the year. The alt coins are likely to get a lot of attention in the coming year as speculators shift their focus to coins that are likely to give them better returns as the Bitcoin industry grows and matures in a steady manner and prices slow down.

In January 2018 the Bitcoin are gonna increase in price as far as experts are concerned because since the holiday season is over now that everyone is more focused in investing then cashing out thus we can expect a decent rise in the price of Bitcoin because that way the holders will be able to gain more profit and more people will be attracted towards it and other cryptocurrencies will also follow the similar Trend ..
I strongly believe that near about March we can see Bitcoins tripling in value.

Well holiday time, to be honest I have expected price to drop below 10k even but this is really good for stating 2018. In 2018 we make another history by breaking records other thought were unseen.

Good luck to you all, good luck to bitcoin!!!

Buy coins at new years as the count down counts. That is the plan!! Smiley We all buy an push the price up within a few hours and bitcoin will be great again. I haven't made a transaction for awhile now but I hope that it is resolved or will be soon because it's a very frustrating and is bit what Bitcoin is ment to be.

no one can accurately assess what will be raised if the bitcoin will rise or decrease whether it will stop or will be stronger than before nobody knows exactly, but here my thoughts bitcoin will incredibly increase to reach its peak in 2018 and will be much more popular But now, and many more people will use it

There are a huge amount of FUTURES that were selled, and now the sellers want to have the PROFIT. I see that in next 3 months BTC price will dump. And in the Q2-Q3 we will definitely see colossal grow.  Shocked

Right now, growth has stopped, but it's because of the holidays. I think in 2018 bitcoin will beat new records.
It's not because of the holidays alone, lots of investors were pissed about the transaction fees and dumped bitcoins for other cryptocurrencies and now the recent threat of a ban looming from South Korea also have caused the effect on investors and because of that future investors are stalling and waiting to see what happens next.

as we know that bitcoin has crossed its highest records in the month of dec we can see newyear is coming as per my opinion upto newyear its rates will be increasing more and more but after newyear bitcoin will have a huge dump but what do you think what will happen to bitcoin in the next year january 2018

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bitcoin go as far as $100.000 in 2018. And if it goes there, damn, the altcoins are going to skyrocket like hell! I am excited about it!
