Yes, they are very similar, so it is not surprising that EOS predict the future of Ethereum. Maybe even at some point it will be better than Ethereum.

Seeing the development of EOS now is very possible to be able to replace Ethereum one day because for now it might not be able to compete with Ethereum because to make our EOS wallet has a little difficulty because it is very different from Ethereum maybe with that difference when EOS still can't compete directly with Ethereum and currently the tokens produced by EOS are still very small, but if you talk to invest in EOS, of course that is a good step because the future of EOS will be very good.

I think that the EOS is also quite strongly inflated coin, but still the project at the EOS is really good, at least I like it. I invested in the EOS.

Somehow after learning about the development of WAVES these days, it may not just EOS that will compete ETH. Waves had been around since 2016 and I think they have developed almost all the things needed to make up a platform competitive enough with ETH, From Turing, smartcontracts, WAVES NG and they can process million transactions per second. Not to mention the DEX of their own.
