Is uniform really necessary to students? Do we really need to formalize students to study? In most asian countries many require School uniform, mostly because of distinction of schools. However in the US, students can wear whatever they want for as long as they follow the dress code of the school on what is considere appropriate. What are your thoughts in this matter, do we really need school uniforms for students? Give some specific reasons why or why not.

Yes it is necessary because through it, people can notice that a student is a student. Wherever students go, they will easily be notices and may avail the discounts for them.

Yes it is true, school uniform is needed the reason
1. Different level of example: elementary school children using red and white uniforms, blue and white junior outfits, and high school children appear gray white.
2. disciplinary assessment,
This assessment through the uniform worn by looking at the uniform completeness of a person can assess the discipline.
3. increase national sense of unity. When they both wore high school uniforms, the teenagers felt from one group even from various schools.
4. Avoiding social inequality, wearing a uniform can reduce the gap between students from wealthy and incapable families. So, of all social classes wear the same uniform.

Well for me no , it's not affecting the focus of the child either he/she wear a uniform or not, in countries like asia it's not necessary still depend though. And the reason why they or why uniform is needed because from the word uni to unite. It's an aspect of discipline, and to know where or the identity of the school.

I think they are necessary but only if enforced strictly. I think the point of them is to stop any kids feeling ostracised due to the quality of their possessions. However if this is loosely enforced and kids are allowed to wear certain brands of trainers I think this defeats the point.

Uniforms are  not meant for discriminating students of one school from the others, it is meant for arousing the feeling of unity among the students

It is not just about the concentration, but it also removes the unwanted pressure to purchase expensive clothes. This may sound ridiculous, but I have seen school-children (especially the girls) spending almost all of their savings for purchasing expensive clothes and perfumes.

That's true, this is common in youth, during their high school days, they would spend their allowance on what would make them feel beautiful. What's more ridiculous about this is when you look at them after applying their make ups, they look more like a muffin sprinkled with cornstarch.

I wouldn't say it is needed to wear one, but wearing a school uniform makes you feel the pride of your school. I knew this because on my first year in college the school doesn't require us to wear uniforms. We're like just going to malls lol. The year after, I transferred to another school and they require wearing uniforms.

I think school still need to prscribe uniforms especially for the elementary and secondary pupils. This will easily distinguished to what school they belong. It also saves casual clothes. For example in the remote areas where they only have one pair of clothes for going out. The rest are everyday clothes which are not approprite to be use in school. Many public schools in our country that provides unifors,  bags and school supplies to students. So i think uniforms are no big deal. College in our country can wear uniforms and casual attire.

School must have their own uniforms. Because School Uniforms give children a sense of unity with other students because they all are wearing the same clothes and representing the same school, It may also lower the cases of bullying within schools. In many cases kids are picked on because of the clothes they wear, how they look, or in some cases the materialistic belongings they may or may not have. If all students wear the same thing it would be very hard almost impossible to make fun of someone who is wearing the same thing as you. This is for me. Wearing school uniform allows students to get ready for school faster in the morning because they don't have to worry about what they have to wear.

In general, that is a good idea. Because, firstly it makes us all equal, children feel themselves as a part of something big, social class isnt seen.

Wearing school uniform is really good because it enables  the person to be identify on what school she belongs. It's advantage is problems on what to wear everyday will be solve if there is a requiref school  uniform.

I was always feeling so constrained while wearing those. No freedom at all, everything was so strict even jeans were forbidden. Freestyle, that's my opinion

The environment of each country is different, and this is more directed to the customs and culture of the country. Some countries consider uniforms important for the sake of maintaining culture in schools.
