This is actually possible! The way the current trend is going, $20,000 by the end of 2017 is far from being impossible. There are more rise than falls. And even if the price does fall, it will certainly recover at a fast rate landing on a higher price than the previous.

 but it will certainly reach it in 2018 maybe the price of 19k $ will be reached but no more because it is really going to be crazy.

We are most likely going to be seeing this price and already bitcoin is heading towards $19,000 and with its growth rate of almost $500 each day and we consider corrections that occur during these 2weeks before the end of the year, we are pretty much going to to a high price than $20k

at this moment Bitcoin reach $19.000 dollars and if this movement keep continue in a few days later,
we may be can see it for around $20.000 or even more than that.
how can you say it's obviously will not reach that place while we are at this point ?
even in my opinion it has a possibility to reach $25.000 in the next few days,
because we're moving like crazy and never walk with the pattern.
plus we still have a day before the listing on CME group futures.
do not you think it's a bit too pessimistic while we are already at this point ?

First of all i am not sure why your poll says December 30th, when you are asking about year end i would think the poll question should be till December 31st 11:59pm of the last time zone since bitcoin is global. Now as the last few days the price does seem to be holding its ground on stable price of $17.5k

definitely, I have saw some post before that the price for bitcoin have already passed 20K in some japan exchanges. As more and more japanese are buying into bitcoin after japan legalized the currency recently.

IMO, Bitcoin price moves according to the demand of the entire community and since we get a lot of new entrants, I also think we could hit that mark soon, just can't predict when that will be. It could even be higher than $20k by end of year.

I think that without problems will reach 20k$, especially in connection with the launch of futures.

I hope you realize that futures can bring the price up as well as down. Initially they will all get hyped and buy, but they can as well think of shorting it. They'll buy now, we'll jump up by $500 and then they'll dump it all to take profits. To a guy that puts in a million USD at once even $100 per coin is a huge profit, enough to be thinking about a selloff.
IMO we've been preparing for a correction for a long time and it will have to come eventually. IMO it will happen before $20k.

Indeed it is within reach now and there is no doubt in me actually that bitcoin can reach 20k$ in the near future especially before the end of the year because it has made certain impressive surges forward this month already and reaching 20k$ should be the least it could achieve  even looking at the times and that we are yet to even shop for xmas and all.

It might happen this weekend. There has been so much new money coming into crypto, who knows where it will end. The new money has never experienced the previous bear markets, they think bitcoin can only go up, so they're still buying.

I think it could jump up to $30,00 over the Christmas holidays.  I am also fully aware that it could drop down to $10,000, $5,000 or $500 any time soon though.

It seems like it. Bitcoin is now priced at $19300 in coinmarketcap. At the rate Bitcoin price is currently going, $20000 is very possible by the end of 2017. Let’s just wait and see how things are gonna turn out by that time.

It can even surpass 20k ( as it's keeping growing fast since it was 9 and remain in the same development rhythm ) and as you know there are 15 days left before 2018 , which is sufficiently enough period for bitcoin to hit higher levels

I'm pretty sure we'll get there. We're already at 19000 USD and there's not a lot to cover to get us to 20. If we take into account that we've witnessed the price jumping by 1000 USD in a day that 20 000 is within our reach as we speak. And remember that predictions are saying we can reach 50k next year!
