quarkcoin, can you please explain how to calculate difficulty and miner reward? Any algorithm we could use? I wonder to know how fast I will mine a block with 4-core CPU at current difficulty of 83.

The best is probably to see how long it takes to mine say 10 blocks. Divide reward by number of minutes, then divide by the average difficulty over that period, and then divide by your GHz processing power, that will give you reward per minute per difficulty point per GHz. Do the opposite to calculate your estimated reward.

I not mined even a single block, yet Smiley Still waiting.
BTW:
Code:
"connections" : 16
difficulty" : 124.01564152
Quarkcoin becoming increasingly popular Smiley

This coin has more problems with the connections than any other coin. I've never seen anything like this.

I've used like 20 other wallets and coins, and Quarkcoin is the only coin I've ever used that won't connect. All the other coins work perfectly.

Don't tell me to addnode the IP's. It doesn't matter if you addnode all the IP's, or try everything. It still doesn't work. And why did you remove UPnP support?

You've messed up something with the networking code that none of the other coins have messed up.
I can't get Quark to work on 3 out of 4 of my computers, and I gave up after trying for hours.

If it doesn't sync blocks, or speed was too low, one block at a time. Let's try remove quarkcoin conf folder, re-make conf file, then run from the start. It worked for me.

Have you tried opening the port listed on the first page, on your router

"Please open port 11973 on your router"

This solved the problem for me.

Before the coins mature they need to see a certain amount of blocks found.
