As is well-known, it is difficult to transfer large amounts of QRK. This bug needs to be fixed asap. Until this is done, I use a batch file (Windows). I figured you might find it useful too. FOR /L %%A IN (1,1,10) DO (
quarkcoind sendtoaddress ### 8192
ping -n 1 127.0.0.1 > nul
)
Copy and paste into notepad, replace ### with a valid Quarkcoin address save as for example sendmany.bat, then double click to run it. This scripts sends 8192 QRK x 10 to the specified address, with a one second wait instruction between each transfer. Amend it as you see fit. Any linux geek could likely come up with something very similar for for example Ubuntu. |

I'm gonna do what I can. First of all, the price is ridiculously low now, so I will buy around 25 BTC worth on Cryptsy, Coins-E etc to get a hold of the dumping idiots' money.
Then I will do what I can to promote this coin in all possible forums. With time, maybe not tomorrow, but in 3-12 months, let's see who's laughing.
well with 25 BTC you will own a huge stake of the generated coins so that could help taking that many out of constant trading circulation. The coin design has been totally problem free and copied quite a bit. As you say promotion seems to be the problem. I'm hoping someone notices the quality of this coin and puts it to good use for apps or games soon. heh, that would get some absurd amount, like 16m out of the 232m in existence i still have a few million and dont really see any point in selling for chump change though i've considered switching the pool over to private, I'd easily have over 1/2 the hashing power if I pointed all my servers at it & after that other one went down, everyone decided to migrate to places that charge fees, bizarrely enough |

Right now, I have >1300 cores working on QRK, around 80-90 MH/s, I think hmm, not sure about that. you could extrapolate it from the difficulty i'm sure, just wouldn't know. right now all i'm mining with is an e3-1240v3, 8 cores. not doing anything else with it. someone posted it earlier, but: coinmarketcap.comhas quarkcoin valued too high, but even at current price it'd be a little bit above 30k. has the developer done any work on this at all any time recently? what's up with quarkcoin.org? both are issues. i mean, if hosting is a problem, i have that xeon that's doing nothing, it's unlimited traffic w/ dedicated 1gbps (ed: but no ddos protection, which i guess wouldnt be a problem unless quarkcoin actually gained some notoriety) |

Should be around the October 31st Cool, thanks. I see it's at .00000106 now on cryptsy   Yep, that poor little quark is really getting battered. You can buy 1000 QRK for 10cents; it must cost at least 10 times that to mine! This is really one to watch; we're almost half way to full maturity. |

People should be holding this coin it will grow in value at least 10 times soon. Now it might be time to buy more when price is so low. All solid cryptocoins with honest and active developers will go skyhigh because high price of bitcoin will increase also price of other coins. Today people were dumping altcoins because bitcoin grew only a few $$. but in long term this low price of altcoins attract money that are flowing around and all these money will want to buy quarkcoin, ADT, pennies, securecoin, iFC, LTC and all usefull coins. There are tens of billion of USD printed each day out of nothing and if just a fraction of these money would go into cryptocoins everything will grow 10 times in just one day. I put all my money into altcoins. I am sure some of them will grow even more than bitcoin (of course they will not be $200 but when quarkcoin grow from almost zero it could be 1000% earning) |
