From stability point of view, high profile altcoins like Ethereum, Zcash, DASH, Litecoin etc are consider stable. These coins have huge market capitalizations, huge fan following and high demands. But in cryptoworld, there is nothing like stability. I have witnessed Bitcoin falling at $ 2500 from $ 6000 in no time when China banned ICOs. Future events have adverse and favorable effects on cryptocurrencies. As compared to all altcoins, these high profile altcoins are very much stable than all.

I would say ethereum. But they are all pegged to bitcoin's price which isn't always as stable. So at the end of the day stability is only an illusion.

for long term investment just hold the top 1 to 15 at the marketcap website.
most of my friends are hold :
Ethereum , Litecoin, Xlm, Neo, omg , bch.

Go in coinmarketcap.com and checked all the altcoin because i know that there's a little more altcoin thst the price are stable like my opus i still keep holding him even the price is 100 sats to 200 sats only |

The most stable it's litecoin. Everything rise, Litecoin in stable, everything dump litecoin still strong. And only once its can pump to the moon then again quiet. |

Stability doesn't count here in cryptocurrencies world because no coin is stable. Any how if you are talking about the best coin with respect to price and reliability then i will vote for ethereum because of second most widely used cryptocurrency with having a very large community next to bitcoin community. After bitcoin i always suggest users to hold ethereum in the long run to earn maximum profit in future. |

Based on these criteria, you can choose the most stable altcoins specifically for yourself. And you can distribute your Deposit into equal shares and invest in the Top 10 altcoins. |

Every crypto currency's value changes regularly some time it make a huge bubble some time not.
Talking about stable altcoin Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoins are going good. Currently these all altcoins are behaving normally.

If we sit and start thinking basically there are no stable altcoins at all. Altcoins are getting pumped and dumped all day all night everyday. But if we really need one stable one its litecoin for me.

Eth is very common for a stable coin. There are more of it and they're independent blockchain projects such as Boscoin, NEO and some others. There are also tokens, but they're only active in real life sector. |

minexcoin is the most stable coin in the market at the moment they have a bank through which they aim to control the liquidity of the coin this is what they claim. i personal think that it is not easy to control the liquidity of the cryptocurrency in such a liquid market

Cryptos are very volatile, more than any other market class. So there is no "stable" altcoin indeed. Even if it seems so, price may swing unexpectedly. The only way to control risk is through diversification. Having said that, there is one crypto ( Combicoin) which consist of a basket of the 30 top cryptocurrencies by market cap, equally weighted. It has provided impressive results so far, with much lower risk. I hold some COMBI myself as part of my portfolio (together with TRIA but that was a bonus during ICO). I think that Monero is quite stable, but none of them are what anyone outside the cryptoworld would call "stable". There are some projects that make coins linked to fiat or gold that should be reasonably safe. |

DeepOnion is one of the best altcoins going these days as price of Onion has almost crossed 4$ mark in such short span of time . I am already investing in DeepOnion and this is best altcoin for future . As DeepOnion is based on TOR network which gives full anonymity like private transactions , anonymous documents etc . You can't determine whether the coin is stable or not. All incoming coins and currently can be traded in some exchanges will vary its prices quickly. So all coins are unstable price. If you wan stable price, your local currency can't be changed its value. |
