In my opinion, the most stable coin is the ethereum. The system does not stand still, but is constantly evolving. I very much believe that sooner or later the ethereum will catch up with bitcoins on capitalization.

There is no such stable altcoin ,you can go for usdt (tether) if you taking something as base to increase your money.all popular altcoin might dump but there will pump after correction.for time being you can take xrp as base or nearly stable altcoin support as it has huge community backing it up.

There are more than 1000 altcoins in the market. What do you think for the most stable altcoins?

I always say that bitcoin is not really stable but the moving price is mostly higher.
I dont say it is stable but bitcoin can be good choice.
The other altcoin you can try to invest in etherium.

I am a fan of ripple, the fact banks are already using its platform is pretty reassuring. This does not mean the coin itself will be adopted though. If it does then watch this space.

NuBits is pretty stable as well if you compare it to other alts, tho its price is tied with USD https://nubits.com/ it is not traded on many exchange as USDT is. But when some alt tries to provide some stable price it has its own limitations and flaws. As you stated USDT is backed up by a company which means as long as company provides its all clear but when they go banckroupt or even issue more coins than those that they have in reserve and people want to cash out its over.

If you are intersted about NuBits read: http://archive.is/EmBdj I mean its farfrom perfect either :/

Ripple was made for banks not for ordinary people to use as day to day currency. Plus its price ain't stable, whats your point?

It was yesterday in the night that I discovered that Dash(DASH) and Monero(XMR) are very stable and less volatile altcoins with ranks of 8 and 11 respectively in Coinmarketcap. These are very stable assets in my own analysis of their coins stability and they have great prospects in the cryptocurrency market. Their price stability characteristics are very significant for short term and medium term uses as store of value. The volatility ratios for these two coins are relatively low compare to Bitcoin. You can store your money in them with less risk level, however you have to measure your risk.

The most stable altcoin, of course, is USDT, just like the dollar, isn't it stable enough?hhh

Top 10 coins are the most stable tokens, they can be invested in, without fear of losing everything, they are certainly corrected, but in long runs go up, take it you will not lose.

if only stable and have no future it is very useless. you should look for a coin that has a future chance even though its value is always up and down by leaps and bounds.

By stable if you mean the ones who do not get much affected by the volatility of bitcoin, I think you should put your money into Ethreium, Etherium Classic, QTUM, Waves and some other coins who are pegged in USD pairs instead of BTC pairs.

ETH, LTC and Monero are quite stable. But when bitcoin goes down, it drags all altcoins with it. I learned that Cardano and Komodo more or less kept its value despite recent bloodbath. But nothing stable in cryptocurrency market. I'm holding IOTA and Nexus coins. Later because of the great community and nice experience with wallet and transactions. Also, I believe this coin is so undervalued! Hope someday it will be 50+ dollar coin hosted in space. Iota on other hand have some annoying network clogging but hopefully, it will be sorted out after the development of tangle.

If you want to get some stable altcoins then you should go for the site called coinmarketcap and you should get into coins that are at least in the top 10 because those coins are stable and have a great community that they can rely on the price so it will not go down hard and it tends to have a stable movement for its market.

In my own opinion and based on experience, Ethereum coin is the only profitable coin today. The value of eth has been affected when ico's has been banned in china as well as bitcoins but ethcoins also manage to increase its value because there are still a lot of people who are keep on investing on eth coins today that's why it was also very profitable.

now a days you can see Many of the coins are unstable but  there are some coins which are performing well i.e LTC, DASH and NEO.
You know crypto currency can't be stable but for sometimes it can be stable but that does not mean for long time.

I am quite difficult to determine your question because it has multiple definitions in accordance with fixed price high prices or prices that do not rise or fall? While the market demanded an increase or decrease in coin prices. What kind of stability do you want?

I think there is no altcoin that has a stable price, because this is a digital world market of course very many people come there. and there we need the intelligence and experience if we want to buy the altcoin. if you are smart to rate the price, you can benefit
