I don't believe so the overall sentiment is quite bullish on Bitcoin in 2018. It may correct and even lose 30-50% of its value from today but I don't think a crash further than that will happen.

I do not think Bitcoin is a bubble that will burst in 2018. At least  today the futures trader opened their shop for bitcoin. This means that more people will be involved with bitcoin. The future of Bitcoin is bright.

Will bitcoin crash in 2018?

Bitcoin is not all of cryptocurrencies. But anyway to answer your question. I think bitcoin may crash but when it does I expect more of a Sharp fall of 30-50% followed by a bear market for a while. I don't suspect some catastrophic collapse.

30 to 50% correction is a crash and if that happened people would stampede to the exits only to find all the exchanges are down and they can't sell their coins for cash.  None of the exchanges can handle a sudden downturn and people will be left holding their coins

I imagine it will plateau at a certain point and hopefully stay there with very small gains. Its only use at the moment is as a store of value. Hopefully the lightening network improves this.

Do you see how big the growth is today in the market of altcoins? Everyone begins to predict a fall at the end of the year. But half hopes that growth will continue for another month. I do not know which of these two hypotheses is true. I'm sitting, I think.

I don't believe that we will see the correction in 2017. The market is very bullish for that. Moreover there are many good news at different projects about the completing of roadmap milestones.

It is possible to guess and argue indefinitely, but as it will be in reality, time will tell. The market is constantly changing (relatively), but bitcoin is currently gaining more popularity.

WHat is the definition of crash for you? There might be corrections, but if you look at bitcoin chart after every majot correction and bear season bitcoin comes out even more stronger than before. So hold you btc till it gets to 100,000USD per btc

I think there will be a sharp drop when Bitcoin's rate becomes more than 20,000 and exceeds the psychological mark. And this can happen this year

Will bitcoin crash in 2018?

Why do you believe bitcoin will crash ? If it does crash it will be near the last block mined I think.

I do not think Bitcoin will crash in 2018. But if crashes (whenever that happens) we will have some corrections and will slow the market, but will not be the end if it.

I agree, there is no concrete answer, we can only give forecasts, but no more.

Many expect a correction in the spring of 2018, if I should listen to the views, or HODL?

My thoughts could be that we will continue to see crypto currencies climb more and more want a slice of crypto hence the rapid climb in values of nearly all cryptos. Majority of us are all hodling and a crash of any sort will just blow over.

Will bitcoin crash in 2018?
A very complicated and ambiguous question. I think there may be a strong correction, but I do not think that 2018 will be the end year
