softcap is the minimum fund needed to function the project and hardcap is the maximum fund that can be invested in the project. if the project has reached softcap, this is a good start because to achieve hardcap it must be easier even though it also takes time, and when softcap is not achieved, of course to achieve hardcap will be more difficult
I think i agree with this, softcap and hardcap all affects the price of a token when it enters exchanges but not always

Simply because the hard cap means more people invest and that's a good project, these projects are sold out in a matter of hours or days. I do not see many projects like this

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I do not believe in Soft Cap so much, the minimum amount to build their project can be supported by the regulations to reach the Soft cap. Hard cap is the maximum amount of money for them to develop the project technology of the household in the long run. Some projects have reached Hard cap only during the semi-private.

Hard cap and soft cap, just like normal business have their main budget and excess or surplus same applies to crypto currency softcap is the main capital budget schedule to run a particular project and make it successful without meeting the softcap a project can not be run while hardcap is the surplus after meeting the softcap, that is the excess capital. Hardcap is not a most like softcap.

For any project, it's best to collect Hard Cap. This will help to implement the project at a high level. Soft cap is the minimum amount of money that is needed to implement the project.
Of course, it is very important for projects to collect Hard Cap. But there is one disadvantage for investors in short-term period. If a Hard Cap is too big, then price can dramatically drop after listing, because there won`t be any demand.

A hard cap is defined as the maximum amount a crowdsale will receive. Most projects set a very high cap that is unlikely to happen. Only very famous projects like Status or Brave browser have reached its hard cap. A soft cap is the amount received at which your crowdsale will be considered a success. It is the minimal amount required by your project.

softcap is the initial funding for project development if the project has achieved softcap, then it can grow and hardcap is the maximum funding so that the development of projects with hardcap funds will facilitate development

What is the difference of hard cap to soft cap? Did we base on this if we are going to invest in altcoins? Share your comments.

I think this is a good avenue for beginners to know more about the concept of successful ICOs in general. Anyway, soft caps are the minimum amount of money the project must get to at least make profits for themselves and breakeven their initial investments. Hard caps are the maximum amount an ICO can get out of a pre-sale.

To know the differnce of the hard cap to soft cap you have to know the meaning of the 2 first so you will understand and know the difference.

Hard Cap
- The hard cap of an ICO means the maximum amount of capital that it aims to gather. Most of the up and coming cryptocurrency projects set the hard cap very high. Most of the set hard caps are unlikely to be reached. But famous or hyped projects do reach it with ease. The hard cap is the number of the maximum capital needed and projects will mostly stop accepting additional funding after the hard cap.

Soft Cap
- The soft cap is the capital amount gathered at which the crowdsale event will be considered successful. It is the minimal amount of funds needed and aimed at by the project to proceed as planned. Most of the projects reach their soft caps because an Initial Coin Offering is currently one of the best ways to kick start a project and to raise capital.

Now lets differentiate the difference of the hard cap and soft cap
- The Hard Cap is the maximum amount of the coin while the soft cap is the minimum amount of the coin.

Has anyone noticed how difficult it has become to projects to raise the hard cap? Many even the minimum number of tokens can not sell. I saw only a couple of projects that managed to collect hard cap during the drawdown. I hope that this will be only a temporary phenomenon that manifests itself against the background of the market drawdown.

I think that the only difference is that the development team will be able to more quickly perform the tasks. Just Hard cover shows that there is a great demand for the project token !

A soft cap are fundraising goals. A hard cap is the absolute upper limit a team will take. Whereas, a soft cap is more speculative. A soft cap is typically a lower limit, more like how much a team is aiming to raise.

the difference between soft cover and hard cover can be understood when you read the technical document and the road map, the soft cover is the minimum means to start working.

softcap is the minimum target of the project and hardcap is the maximum target of the project. yes, we can decide for investment or not by looking at "softcap" and "hardcap", if the project can reach the softcap, especially hardcap means that the project is good and attracts investors.
