List of IgnitionCoin mining pools with live stats & hashrate distribution

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

A lot of technical information, many strong people in cryptography. Honestly, it is very difficult to understand the technical description of the project, but this is for those who do not understand. Cool project.

Hi everyone!

After months of taking suggestions and opinions from the community, we believe we will be moving toward the reduction or removal of PoW in the next 6-12 months time frame.

Other things that we are planning or exploring at this time are:
  • Changing the ratio of PoS vs MN rewards from 50/50 to somewhere in the range of 30-45/55-70 % ratios.
  • Typos and Minor Bug fixes
  • Adding auto-start masternode options, so that you don't have to click the start masternode button
  • Adding auto-send features for masternode and staking rewards
  • Implement the "Bitcoin Firewall" protocols that would improve bandwidth and reliability of network connections

These changes should ensure even more long-term stability and reliability for all users, keep block times even more stable, and reduce the possibilities of issues for users in the future.
Most of the features are still being researched for viability and implementability, but the PoW Reduction/Removal and POS/MN Ratio Changes are certain, the others may be included in the same update or a separate future one.

Thanks for supporting our coin and community, and if you would like to get more involved, join our discord at https://discord.io/Ignition

Hello,

I'm having a problem with my wallet atm.
My computer was rebooted after I came home last night, maybe update, who knows.
either way, I restarted ignition coin wallet (using version 1.1.1.0-60029).

It's been about 1 hour, and it still shows that it's snycing with network, 30 hours behind.
My balance shows 0.0 when I had about 743.xx coins in there.
My bars say 17 active connections to the ignition network.

when I go into console and type repairwallet, it says this
" "mismatched spent coins" : 1,
"amount affected by repair" : 743.48376493"

I type check wallet, it says this:
 "wallet check passed" : true"

What else can I do to get this wallet back online, and show my balance?

Thanks for your help ignition admins.

I looked under transactions, and the last transaction was showing
a stake on 1/12/2019 21:03
type mined
but besides the date, was a ?
so I'm assuming it was mined/staked, but not paid. it appears my coins are
somehow stuck in some staking mode still, or something, but because the wallet still
shows 30 hours behind, it's not showing them in my balance, and not syncing with network

I really like the changes that will be coming for Ignition coin, I have been in here since the very start staking this whole time. Removing PoW is a good move as most projects switch over to PoS/MN as time goes on and so I like to see Ignition looks towards doing the same.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Hi. After you used repairwallet, it looks like it fixed incorrect transactions, or conflicted stakes.

Did your wallet ever sync naturally? Seems you had peers, which should send you blocks. If you want you can send me your debug.log in discord or to one of the other developers there, its in your Ignition data directory (on windows type %APPDATA%/Ignition in the file explorer address bar)

If it has synced now, you should be back to staking by now. If not you can do a few things, I would recommend these steps:

First, shut down the wallet.
Second, delete all the files in the Ignition Data Directory, except for the wallet.dat and Ignition.conf.
Then, start the wallet again, and it will start syncing from scratch again.

You can also add this line to your Ignition.conf file (open with a text editor)

Code:
maxconnections=150
and it will connect to more peers than the default (25) next time you run the wallet.

Hello dev,

I made a comment in the discord about Ignition getting listed on HotDex to make up for Cryptopia being down right now and I never received a reply. If you like you can check out their ANN here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5105817.msg49578031#msg49578031 and see what you think about trying to list on there. They have a community vote as well where coins can be listed for free which IC could try if you don't want to pay for a direct listing.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Thanks for that suggestion. I couldnt tell if it was a spammer in the chat since you were a new user - Can you tell us if you think they are trustworthy and have integrity? We have been through several exchanges now that have been... disappointing.

Hello dev,

Sorry that I haven't got back to you sooner. Well I have been in contact with one of the owners for a couple of months now and from what I have seen and feel from our chats is that HotDex can be trusted. It is slowly starting to grow as more people know about HD, they have recently added a staking feature where people can now stake their coins on HD. I myself have been staking DMME and its been very good and stakes are paid instantly as soon as the HD wallet mints a block for that particular coin. AS IC is a PoS/MN coin it will be able to stake if you choose to pay the fee for this feature along with the listing fee. Everything you need to know about listing  a coin and all the add options can be found here: https://hotshotcoin.org/add-coin

Thank you!
