Ignition Coin was 1 of the first coin servers i joined when i joined Discord. It is a very interesting project and Technium and the rest of the team is always available for any member that needs help or support. This community is very active and involved with IC. I still see a bright future for IC as they're not one of those here today and gone tomorrow projects  |

Today we released version 1.1.2: Download here: https://github.com/ignitioncoin/ignitioncoin/releases/tag/1.1.2.0Ignition v1.1.2.0 is a non-mandatory upgrade that implements a large array of automated functions via a setup-manager script for linux that enables interactive and easy to use feature to install Ignition on linux, compile for windows and linux, assist in masternode setup and more. It also includes 2 minor bug fixes, one that improves mac compiling and another that reduces debug log bloat & spam. This version update IS NOT MANDATORY and compatible with the following versions of Ignition Coin wallet: 1.1.0.0 , 1.1.1.0 - If you run any node prior to version 1.1.0.0, it will not be compatible with the current network. Changes in 1.1.2.0 Include: - Fixed an issue with debugging network connections that would bloat debug logs - Implemented a new script that can interactively assist in the following: - Installing node software on Linux - Compiling node (on Linux) - including CLI, GUI, and cross-compiling for Windows - Backing up node data on demand, including the conf file, masternode configuration, and wallet - Installing required dependencies and preparing the system with swap space and firewall settings - Assisting in masternode setup (hot-cold masternode only, Linux side) - Uninstalling Ignition node from Linux - Improved Mac compiling process We will also now be including a binary release for Ubuntu Linux 16.04 in releases. Well, this note ^^ didn't age well. It was announced that Cryptopia has entered liquidation. Please see this page for information: https://www.grantthornton.co.nz/press/press-releases-2019/cryptopia-limited-appoints-grant-thornton-as-liquidators/In other news, we are preparing to release Version 1.2.0 version of Ignition Coin, which will be a required update, but you will have either 4 or 6 months to upgrade. (TBD this week) The changes will include an end to PoW and a rebalance of PoS/MN Reward ratio, from 50/50 to 45/55%, but both POS and MN's will earn rewards twice as often, due to PoW's end. This will activate (the end of pow and rebalance to rewards) at a set blockheight (either 4 or 6 months away). We are also considering implementing an automatic scaling of blocksize maximum's in this upgrade. The idea is that the 20MB block size limit would be able to increase at set intervals by either set amounts (+kB/block), or set percentages, i.e., +1%, every X blocks (could be every year, every 2, etc). Normally, it requires a fork upgrade (similar to this one for pow ending) to change block size, so if we think the block size will need to grow at any point in the future, it would be in our best interest to include these changes now (to activate in the future) rather than make a required network upgrade in the future that is stand-alone. This would ensure that blocks will scale for on-chain transactions, automatically, far into the future, and at a much slower rate than moore's law. Hello dev, Just like to know if BTCPop has been notified about this wallet upgrade and if they have upgraded their wallets yet? I am thinking about using their staking pool to stake Ignition as I don't have a lot and the rewards for staking isn't as good for me know so I'm going to try their staking pool but want to make sure they have upgraded first before sending coins. |

it could be a great time for IC to go over to POS only , never staked them before but they are safe on my wallet for sure , sometimes it is good to hold for better times , let's stake IC

I can confirm that the wallet on BTCPop works as I made a test deposit yesterday and it went through just fine. Also I am testing out their staking pool with a few hundred Ignition coins and so far its working perfectly as I'm earning some coins each day.

I see Ignition is on Stake Cube but no exchange so maybe you could also see if Stake Cube would list Ignition on their exchange as well. |

IC now still cheap like hell.
@ all here.. this will be the last chance over the next weeks to buy some coins at this low price. It'll rise a lot in future over the years.
Great community and best DEV's and it's the best store of value coin out there.
And man.. just 5 Million max. coins (right now just a bit over a million in circulation) with a fair giveaway from the beginning without any shitty ICO scam story.
This coin has so much advantages about others and bitcoin.
Now just PoS/MN and this is the right way, it's the future.
Jump onto the train as long as you can and let's ignite the future!!
