Attention

The campaign to list HCN on the Stocks.Exchange will start from January 2, 2018 and will last until January 31, 2018.

Everyone who wants to help list HCN in exchange, will lend their Hashrate to mine Sumokoin coins, those mined coins will be used to pay the Stocks.Exchange exchange to list HumanitaryCoin.

In order for us to list HCN in exchange, we will need 100Khash on average to get the required amount of money, currently the hashrate of the HumanitaryCoin network is 158 Khash, if everyone fails to mine HCN and mine Sumokoin in the mining pool we create, we will succeed the amount required.

To mine Sumokoin in the campaign pool (your own pool), you will need a Sumokoin wallet address, we will provide an address for everyone to mine, if you already have one, you can use it to mine as well.

As a way to encourage everyone to participate, for those who participate in the campaign to mine Sumokoin, we will pay with HCN coins, the more you participate in the campaign, the more HCN coins we will pay you.

Why Sumokoin?
 The Sumokoin crypto-coin, cryptonight algorithm, is currently the fastest way to get the amount needed to list HumanitaryCoin in an exchange, the ease of mining a block compared to Monero is what makes Sumokoin the chosen one for the campaign.

Is it an option to participate in the campaign?
 Yes, no one is required to participate in the campaign, but be aware that if HCN is not listed in an exchange, it will not be worth anything, ie if you have 10k, 50k, 100k, 500k HCN mined and want to exchange it for bitcoin, money or other crypto-coins, you must participate in the campaign.

When will HumanitaryCoin be listed on an exchange?
 As soon as the campaign ends (January 31, 2018) and the required amount is collected, we will pay the Stocks.Exchange exchange, we anticipate that by February 10 HumanitaryCoin be listed on the exchange and ready to be marketed.

Mining Pool Campaign:
http://donation.humanitarycoin.org/

Wallet address for miner in campaign:
Sumoo1CdUmf5dpQ2earw3DiHdcZFuoFJ2KKcVXCb4RViaruR5q8Tm5LgGEa3qb4otwZQbq4Bw5hN8bC qoZHqZ3HRef9VpN94FvL

Start
From 02/01/2018 to 31/01/2018 (American format: 01/02/2018 to 01/31/2018)

I will be mining during some of these days, I just hope others will too. Thanks for trying hard to make the project succeed, it has been a long and difficult road...hopefully it will all pay off.

Thank you for supporting us, if all stop mining HCN and mined in the campaign pool (sumokoin) we will easily raise the amount needed to list HCN on the Stocks.Exchange.

As a bonus, we will pay in HCN everyone who mines in the campaign's mining pool, this encourages everyone to participate.
how much HCN will you pay to miners?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I have setup a new HumanitaryCoin pool which you can join:

pool: http://hcn.pandapool.nl
pool fee: 0.5%
payments: every 15 minutes

There are multiple ports you can use and fixed diff. is also supported. Maybe it could be mentioned on the OP?

It seems perfect to me the form that has been used to finance the exchange for this currency, surely we are all looking forward to be able to make a return on the work that has been done and for my part as soon as the pool is available I will join to get the btc enough to list it.

Will depend on your hashrate, the higher the hash power, more you will gain.

I will lower the threshold when more miners join the pool (and the block rewards will get splintered more). With one of two miners the block reward is going to reach the current threshold easily within a few blocks.

Here all pool stats:

Thanks, nice overview. I still can't figure out why all the pools show a different Network Hash rate. And I really don't understand why my pool at hcn.pandapool.nl is unable to find a block within the last 4 hours with an estimated block time of 30 minutes?!  Huh

The Sumokoin that we all help to mine will be used to pay the exchange listing fee. The HCN that the developers have, will be used to reward the people that mine the Sumokoin. So you will be mining one coin, and getting paid in the other. Fair deal if you ask me. As nobody wants to donate, it is pretty much the only option left. I hope enough people will help out.

But the first post says that premine is 0%. So i thought that dev's don't have any HCN.
Maybe they want to mine some SUMO with community, sold it out and go away ?

To the devs (@epicfailman?), could you update the OP and the official website with a current list of working pools? I started my pool @ http://hcn.pandapool.nl because I noticed that 90%+ of the Global Hashrate was going to one (official?) pool at http://hcn.pool.cat. For a better decentralization I took the effort to create a new pool. But I have noticed all new miners still go to http://hcn.pool.cat. Then I looked at the mentioned pools on the OP and official website:

http://hcn.pool.cat -> working, 90%+ Global Hashrate
http://hcn.graymines.net -> working, but with Coinhive JavaScript Miner on the website (Why Huh)
http://hcn.euminingpool.com (mentioned on official website) -> working
https://hcn.superpools.net -> offline
http://hcn.cryptopool.pro -> offline

So there are only three active pools that miners are redirected to at this moment.

There was no premine, as in a genesis block containing a premine. The dev did mine the coin like the rest of us though and has some HCN for situations like this. There is a new dev now, so the project is in new hands. The original dev is helping out, trying to get the project listed on an exchange.

They won't do that, they want to see this succeed. I have been around since the start and I do not believe that would happen.
