What's do you think about Network congestion ethereum ? DAV run on ethereum so Will DAV commercially deploy this case?
Well, DAV is still in an early stage, Ethereum has updates coming out that will improve their tps dramatically. Furthermore, It is important to first understand that a lot of the communication does not need to happen on the blockchain. A big part of the DAV technology stack is allowing for those communications to happen securely between two peers in a decentralized way. This is detailed in the white paper. But here's an example: when a user loads a package onto a drone and wants to tell the drone it is safe to take off, there is no need for them to communicate that info over the blockchain. That message can be sent directly p2p between the two of them. Our tools guarantee that the message is sent securely, cannot be spoofed or man-in-the-middle'd, and that you know who sent it. The blockchain acts as sort of a decentralized certificate authority to guarantee this. I plan to do a video explaining this better. For other communication that does need to be on the blockchain and depends on external info, one of the solutions is to use 3rd party arbitrators offering this as a service (for example, as a third signer on a multisig contract that offers that service). This is explained in more detail in the white paper. Thanks for that, very helpful. Would Dav move to another blockchain, or could it operate over several blockchais if Ethereums scaling takes a lot longer than planned. Noam has commented on this in our Telegram channel at https://t.me/DAVNetworkTo ensure the future DAV it should be blockchain agnostic, ETH is just our infrastructure for the moment - DAV token is all about and only about transportation, it should not be dependent on the whims of a specific group of miners such as Ethereum, Neo or Wave. For that reasons we are designing it with options to change blockchains down the road, considering fees, transaction speed, security and other factors, so blockchains will compete for providing us with the service that they are supposed to provide - security, transaction speed and scaleability. |

Because there is a SEC that can all start to suddenly check, on the one hand it's good but many of them do not want to participate in ICO... |

We have officially launched the DAV network. It is fully live and operational! The DAV network was tested in Europe earlier this week. A drone in Berlin searched for charging services in its vicinity, then negotiated and signed terms with a Skysense charging station: ( https://etherscan.io/tx/0x9f294cb13b2c45f5774336aed107e41d502cac98815786b7610ae5eca73bd7f8) The drone landed on the charging station, replenished its battery, and continued on its way. Once the mission was complete, payment was released to the charging station's wallet from the mission contract: ( https://etherscan.io/tx/0x3b40cf63234d56ff0689ca77fe153c83a23e77d0a609890676911e0abce4f7cd) Next week Skysense will be expanding the service with a network of 5 charging stations in Trento, Italy and GRADD will be launching a route planning service in Nevada, USA. Both services will be available on the DAV network. Skysense and GRADD are DAV Alliance members, who have declared their intent to integrate their products with the DAV network. Note that service providers on the DAV network do not require any commercial arrangements between each other. The DAV Protocol permits trustless transactions to take place between such entities as soon as they are on the network. Above is initial video footage of the test in Berlin.
