why do we need politicians?

There are countries where politicians are very useful for their people, and in some cases they even save their people from catastrophes. In other countries, they are just corrupted and treasonous parasites, and the people would live much better without them. Sometimes, you have a combination of these factors.
And never forget that any country doers not exist alone. There are other countries that many try to attack and/or damage you, in which cases you need someone with the authority to take important decisions affecting everybody.

99% of all politicians  represent only themselves or some clans that they belongs to. And they don't care anything exept money, power and our voices on elections. I think, direct democracy can solve this problem. But it will become possible only when all people become true citizen who really care about they state.

First of all they are the law makers, but sorry to say not all of them are law abiders too, because there are times, they are the law makers and they are the law breakers too😌 they are suppose to be the role models and be a good example to everyone, but sad to say not all are real one...

Someone to lead is always needed especially if you were talking about handling millions of people.
