5830's, what mh/s are you getting?

Just got this updated kernel (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=25860.140)
Lowered my clock to 958mhz and I went from 304mh/s to 307mh/s.

Small increase but an increase nevertheless.

Doing 320 in all 3 of my sapphires. Trixx now allows voltage adjustment on multi card setups

I got one of those "Xtreme" edition Sapphire 5830s from NewEgg (one of the $109.99 dealies).  I think in order for them to be "Xtreme" they have to have really good quality cores to handle the slightly higher clock rate.  As a corollary this means they can be pushed to slightly higher OC levels as well.  At least I *think* that's what "Xtreme" means.  Or it could just all be marketing hype.

The only thing that makes the Sapphire "Xtreme" is that it has a better cooling system and some voltage tweaks that will let you overclock with better stability.  Other than that, everything is EXACTLY the same as the non-Xtreme version.  Same hardware, same clock speeds etc

I wouldn't go for the Sapphire Xtreme (again)... I have one, and my ASUS DirectCU can clock MUCH better, and stay much cooler than the Sapphire Xtreme. 

Also, the ASUS has a much quieter fan than the Sapphire to the point where I'm not exaggerating when I say that my brand new Sapphire is twice as loud as my 10 month old ASUS.

And no, the heat isn't because it's above the ASUS because I swapped them and was getting the same high temps.

Edit: Oh yeah, what Xtoro said too.  I'm using AMD GPU Clock Tool to set the MHz, and it automatically pegs the voltage at 1.025 or something like that.  I have no control over the voltage with that tool.

Try using TRIXX, works for me on both cards quite well.

I'm currently running 990/300 with 1163mV (stock) and getting 316mh/s.

Still need to modify the kernel to get a few more out of it but I'm going to guess at this point I'll hit 320mh/s no problem and may even be able to go higher.

I plan to make an attempt for the 5830 record later. Right not they get around 335 for 1030/350 on stock voltage. I wonder how high I can push it

331Mh/s @ 1025mhz GPU, 360mhz mem, 1180 voltage. Make sure your phatk kernel is up to date because each update made to phatk adds a significant performance boost to your hash rate!

Yea I will I think the highest any one posted was 345 back in july. That was 1080 mhz / 380. I bet you could easily get 350 now if you tried but I definitely wouldn't keep it that high for an extended period.

I'm at 1040/300 and getting 330mh/s. I can still do a few kernel upgrades and I think I can keep increasing the freq.

my 5830's running at 343mhash/s clocked at 1060/370 stable and temps don't go higher then 56ish

using phatk 1.50 latest version and 11.7 am getting 352 mh/s  at 1029 mhz by 315 one one and 342 - 345 mh/s on anoter at 980 by 300 at stock volts  .... both sapphire xtreme /  trixx ok .... 1 trick  I tried all the possible aggresion settings and came to conclude that aggresion 7 is far better than 12 or 14 I was using ... ( on the high revved card only used to get 328/ now well over 350 )
