with all these All Time Highs in altcoins of course there is chance for this to crash.
However there is so much demand for the crypto alt coins that is just keeping pumping and most probably it will continue.

Altcoins have always fallen and will fall if bitcoin sharply rises or falls. But do not worry - alts will be restored. It is just necessary to wait for a while.

It looks like alt coins coins are more tied to the dollar than to bitcoin. So, if bitcoin will start bullrun alts will fall in BTC price a lot, but not much in $ price.

I think that when all tokens start to go crazy, then up to a certain point, they will collapse again.

I wonder how taxes affect how people want to cash out of their crypto. If you can buy real goods with crypto, will you still have to pay capital gains tax? I hope the tax will actually push people to start using crypto in daily life

Good alts will prosper this year I think. The coins without solid idea's and no real purpose will always crash imho.

Market has some natural cycles, when is matter of when whales and newbies will enter again the bitcoin. Probably after the bitcoins Lighting network and lower fees, probably then will have a new BTC pump and dump to the most alts.
I see this cumming in March.

I expect the same think but I think it will happen earlier than March. January and February is usually recovery months of the markets from end of year syndrome. So I expect that soon it will start rising again.

Everything could happen on the real market, including crash and it will happen again and again without no one know when it happen. As trader/ investor we should know and prepare our self about it, we call it minimalism loss. Until now, we can face crash with stop loss but not always works. Just keep practice because experience will become our saver.

It depends on the BTC price i guess...

At this point btc's price has not much to do with alt coins' future in my opinion. Why I'm saying that? Because even when btc was dropping there were a lot of alt coins were rising very quickly including ether and other strong ones. That is indication that alt coins will not crash soon.

if the altcoin price falls again, I think it's common, because that's the world of cryptocurrencies, and this is sure to happen, it just does not know when, though surely there are some altcoin prices that go up while others go down

Everything is possible. I think that in the near future we are waiting for the correction of prices for altcoins. It all depends on the plans of the "big players". if they want to buy altcoins at a cheap price, then there will be bad news and there will be a alts crash again.

These are all just opinions, but i also think there's a correction on the way. And it won't be just 'shitcoins' dropping. This has been an amazing run,  but a bloodbath might be on its way(doesn't mean they still won't be higher then they were when this run started).

I don't think the upward trend will change in the near future. While there is no overbought in the market of altcoins.
Local rebounds occur but prices quickly recover.

During that cycles, we see some bull and bear type trends on bitcoin and altcoins. This is very normal like you said. When the time comes, bitcoin will make a price rally while altcoins are suffering from hard crashes.

I think not for now since holidays are over many buyers and investors can focus now. I also think that maybe some alts might fall but it will not crash because it will recover again.
