Yeah, basically if you kept your private keys you can recover your funds without accessing ED. Now the question is, which decentalised exchange can we trust now? because it is definetly something needed.

Can't wait for the 0x project to produce something viable. If/when they do, it'll blow Etherdelta out of the water.

In the meantime, there's nowhere else to load up on cheap tokens before they hit larger exchanges. What's the consensus now? The DNS compromise is definitely over, right? Metamask considered enough to be safe?

DEX technology needs years of testing to prove it's reliable for fast and secure cryptocurrency exchange that can handle cross-blockchain transactions. It's another hype story in this market where a lot have been said but not really accomplished. Let's wait and see what else is coming.

Etherdelta has bn hacked... If you have your fund there... Do not attempt to remove them... The attackers will gain access into your wallet.. And steal all your funds

To check your current holdings on ED use https://deltabalances.github.io

Hackers wallet getting filled up

https://etherscan.io/address/0x3f8a37bde9b15b65c82f9cdd00192e0ba36cc5fc

Watch this video tutorial on how to withdraw your funds from etherdelta without going into the site
https://youtu.be/slru097RrfM

Only the DNS of etherdelta has been hacked, What really happened last december is phishing. If you try to open etherdelta it will redirect you to another site ( The fake one) which is exactly look like etherdelta and it gives the hacker all the information and access to your wallet. Well, if you're using metamask that time you should be safe from the phishing. Etherdelta is now back and can be used again for trading.

Those kind of hacks could become more sophisticated in the future. What if they social engineer the DNS, upload a fake version of EAL on the Mozilla extensions page, and also advise people to withdraw from EtherDelta manually through a fake version of MyEtherWallet? Those things have already happened, except not at the same time yet.
