Depression is hard. I suffered for 5 years in depression. Since now, I feel unimportant and I cry a lot.  Embarrassed

Sorry to hear you've been struggling with it for so long. Have you tried anything to reduce the symptoms? Anti-depression medication, therapy, self help, psychadelics?

Depression is not just a mere psychological problem, it is also a medical condition that results from a chemical imbalance in the brain. You can overcome it, by seeking professional help.Seek the Lord through prayers because He is our Great Physician. Prayer is a powerful weapon and this also depends on your faith. And also from the doctors. Aside from counselling, they will give you also medications.
You can overcome it too by helping yourself,  not to focus on your problems because that is where commonly deppression originates. Be positive, that All will be with you by God's grace.

if you are experiencing depression, You need to consult and talk to your family members by sitting down and face to face to each other then Start by telling your parents you have something important to tell them and that you need help with it. Describe how you have been feeling and say the depression you're experiencing. Then talk about ways you can get through it together and don't lie to them so that they can help you.

Trying to change new dopamine levels associated with pleasure, and learning.

Go to a new place, learn a new language, read a new book, and anything else you've been wanting to try.

To overcome depression, it is hard but you can do it if theres one in yourside. You always need a family that you can shars what you feel and the problems your facing. Family can help you motivate and gives you courage to face any problems. To overcome depression just consult your family, for sure they will help you.

I think Listening to upbeat music & Dancing helps you to relieve stress, Yoga Poses, Exercises, That Can Ease Depression, and also traveling and Spend some time in nature good way to overcome depression

How to overcome depression by thinking positively

Yes it is difficult to think positively when we are haunted by feelings of insecurity and haunted by depression. However, it never hurts for us to learn positive thinking always.

I have a friend and she keeps telling me that she don't to live anymore and that it is better to die, she has lot of problems but she just keep it on her own, she is so depress and i can't find the right words to make her feel better. And also can't a person overcome depression on his/her own?
Depression is one of the most cause of death because if you dont overcome you can kill your self..overcoming depression is so hard so if someone depress family and loveones need their support paying attention for them is very important you must show your caring, love and talk them often.

In my opinion, in order to overcome depression it is necessary to have a close person. It does not necessarily have to be a doctor but also a friend, a boyfriend or girlfriend, a husband or wife, a brother or a parent ........ never alone.

Well we all talk about support of family and friends but sometimes, its just as simple as having someone to talk to. Depressed people usually keep things to themselves which make things really worse. It doesn't even have to be a close friend since sometimes they're shy or concerned that they'll be judged. A conversation with an acquaintance would be a big help. They need to have an outlet where they can vent out.

Dealing with depression requires action, but taking action when you’re depressed can be hard. Sometimes, just thinking about the things you should do to feel better, like exercising or spending time with friends, can seem exhausting or impossible to put into action.

Give yourself a break and find some reasons to smile, take note that there's a lot of it. Open up to some of your "best friends" they will make you feel comfort. And lastly think of how life is so beautiful to live and think of how much God loves us, and most importantly PRAY. God bless.. always...
