Glad a nice clean GUI was released. I almost passed this little coin up because of that issue installing the params and all manually when it first released. Happy to see there is development.

Any chance a paper wallet has been developed? I would like to hold long term and generally the best way for me to do that is to mine to a paper wallet.

It is very young project which has 3-week history. Please give devs more time.

Oh Im in no rush. Just figured for going forward it would be critical to have a cold storage location.
Not just simply saving a wallet.dat but instead having a portable paper wallet in my opinion =) any project worth its scratch goes with one eventually.

We release version 1.0.6a to reduce the CPU load when idling.

Note: after starting the wallet, it takes little time so synchronize everything and the CPU load may be high, but it should be lower after that.

Hehe snow is obvious I think (it's winter), and gem = precious stone, so go figure I wouldn't try to find some hidden meaning here.

My problem wasn't the high CPU load of SnowGemWallet itself, but when I start the wallet the Antimalware Service Execuatble (MsMpEng.exe) consumes a lot of CPU. With the 6.0 version it was 20 - 50% CPU load. With the new version 6.0a it's about 5 - 10%. A serious reduction. But why keeps the wallet software the AV software busy? When I close the wallet, the AV service goes to 0% CPU and keeps on that level.
Any idea?

It may because of the ASE is scanning the program.
