It's available Cheesy
Latest version of Snowgem Windows GUI wallet works fine, and its has beautiful, user-friendly interface, too.
In addition, TXID said in previous pages that Snowgem might have PoS in the future.
I simply stay tuned for next important news.

MANDATORY UPDATE
New version 2.0.3 is available here: https://github.com/Snowgem/Snowgem/releases/tag/2.0.3
What's new in this version:
- active equihash 144_5 on main net with custom pers "sngemPoW" at block 266000
- mining program after fork: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4466962.0
Example command:
miner  --algo 144_5 --pers sngemPoW --server sgpool.net --port 3082 --user s1jDVwkc8WEF3KucTVDjWywmF1PyGCFyWDB.rig0 --pass x

What is the approximate time/date to reah block 266000? I looked up the current block height, but I'm not sure how many blocks are averaged per hour or per day for Snowgem?  Thanks!

it's ~1440 blocks per day. It means that there're ~1.3 days left

Ok, thank you for sharing that information. I'm happy to see that a few coins at least are willing to fight against asics, so kudos to the Snowgem developers for that. Wink

Well done, TXID.
with the successful fork, Snowgem by now has become ASIC-resistant.
By the way, I also would prefer to know about current mechanism to fight against potential 51% attacks.

I think i might be late to the party but, do SNG tokens not matter now? I have about 250 coins in your old wallet. I tried importing it into the new wallet and it was a no go. Did I lose my 250 tokens?

Nope that should work. SNG is the same as XSG it's just rebranded.
Go to discord and ask there. I'm sure you'll get instant help there Smiley

Sounds interesting with a nice forward prospect, Snowgem has become ASIC-resistant, hasn't it?

Snowgem (and the current Zhash algorithm) should be safe from any known Asics for the time being.  If there were to ever be enough liquidity and market value to tempt an Asic maker to design one for this specific algorithm it would be feasible, but I think that's quite a ways off in the future as of today.
