In my opinion, investing into Masternode is very risky, mainly because real ROI will be much different than estimated ROI at the time investors decide to invest into their interest masternode coins.

Just don't invest in those shitty pump&dump scam masternode coins. Choose a project that has proven itself to be trustworthy. Like Snowgem for example. Chances are high that this project will rise in price and interest due to hard work of the officials. So it's a good investment. I don't think you will lose money. Also look at what nUm81 said. You can always cut your losses (if there will be) and step out of the masternode bussines.

Masternode or not, any coin or token carries with it some risks if you're going to invest in them. Proper timing of when to buy and when to sell is essential, especially in crypto. One big advantage of masternode coins is that they allow you to earn passive income, as long as you have chosen a good coin such as Snowgem.

I tried to save files from the roaming folder beforehand and download everything from scratch, my wallet is not imported

Close wallet, copy your old wallet.dat file back to snowgem folder and open wallet again.
Anyway, could you run snowgemd only to see if it works. If it doesnt work, plz close wallet, rename snowgem to snowgem1 folder and open it again.

Nope. You can use what ever mining software supports the forked version of equihash. There are some for Nvidia and I think one for AMD. EWBF should work for Nvidia (the newest version)
