It is difficult to say what will happen to bitcoin at the end of 2018. The year just started and we don't see much of a change yet. Maybe it is better to just see and observe first.

What is the point if bitcoin price become stable? Bitcoin a trading/investment asset, if the price is being stable for too long time then I'm afraid people will start to leave it because stable price = less profit in term of trading.
Bitcoin price will never stable imho and it wont replace fiat money forever. I do not even hope it will replace fiat money, I guess many others also hope the same with me. I will only agree if bitcoin is just an alternative payment of fiat money.

By the end of this year, bitcoin will be at 20,000 dollars easily but if we talk about next year, bitcoin is going to cross 25, 000 dollars easily by the mid of 2018. By the end, it will be more than 30,000 dollars because the investment into bitcoin is increasing day by day and so are its prices. It is not a big deal for bitcoin to go beyond 30,000 dollars next year. I don’t think so it needs to be stable in prices at all.

What you’re saying, it just doesn’t make sense dude. So you think Bitcoin Cash will easily decline to $10, just like that. By the way, I don’t believe all these people saying it will reach the price rate of $50,000, it’s not just possible like that. I know maybe sometime in the future it will achieve that rate, but I really don’t think it would be in this 2018.

You're right but bitcoin is said to go mainstream this year and the central banks are said to be buying cryptocurrencies in other to bolster their foreign reserves. Therefore, I think bitcoin will pass the $20,000 price range before the end of this year.

I would like a piece of that bet. After the evolution of bitcoin in 2017 i have no reason to believe that it won't reach that target.

My take for BTC value by the end of 2018 based on the past 3 years performance (around 50% 2015, around 160% in 2016 and around 1100% in 2017) its... 45K!!!
And im not considering Lighting network release which could 10x that!

In 2018 I expect two price levels hitting by BTC. The first one is 6000-7000$ and other one is 40 000-45000, when huge fonds will enter the market. So let's see how the things will be done

I don’t really know, but I still think it will be possible. Just like in 2017, we never expected Bitcoin to reach up to that rate of $19000. Beginning of the year 2017, it was at the rate of $1000+, but within a short while, it started rising till it reached its highest and then went for a fall.

1 million dollar is nothing for those big whales, they have tons of money to begin with and I'm sure that if even bitcoin didn't get to over $50K by the end of the year, they wouldn't budge a bit. But it we are going to pegged the price of bitcoin to lets say $10K, it would be x5 and it looks like its possible to be met within this year.

I don’t really know, but I still think it will be possible. Just like in 2017, we never expected Bitcoin to reach up to that rate of $19000. Beginning of the year 2017, it was at the rate of $1000+, but within a short while, it started rising till it reached its highest and then went for a fall.

Yes, that's why I said that its really hittable. 2017 shows us how bitcoin to it, I know that its not safe to assume, but if you look at how bitcoin suddenly reaches all-time-highs last year, you will think that it will be easy for bitcoin to go to $50K or more this year. Maybe it can surpass it mid-year, when everyone started to renewed their interest on bitcoin and push its price to levels who never think is possible is short amount of time. Let's wait and see.

That article which mentions those Harvard profs which are saying Bitcoin will collapse in 2018 due to government bans is pure FUD.

You got to understand that many in the Trump administration pretty much are controlled by Wall Street. After the futures got launched there is no way the USA will ban Bitcoin.

Look at what happened during the 2008. Why did companies like AIG survive? They survived because the Obama administration had a large stake in it and couldn't let it fail.

At the end of 2018, i think bitcoin will be costing more than the price right now maybe the price is already 300% of the price right now at the end of 2018. Bitcoin has a lot of potential this year because of the possible massive adoption that might happen in this year because of the awareness for bitcoin.
