EtherDelta! Dear forum participants, what do you think about how to continue working, because there is no alternative to this exchange yet, and it is not possible to trade safely any more. What alternative can you offer?

There are some alternative exchange accepting ERC20 like IDEX and other trading site that giving assurance the safeness of your money. Ether Delta now is back and I try to exchange within and don't experience any suspicious activity on it. Maybe Ether Delta need to clarify the existence before to their user to gain back the trust to them.

right, I've lost my altcoin as much as 12k ERT or about 2-3 ETH.
and this makes me less enthusiastic in working. but I hope this will not happen again to me and my co-workers on this bitcointalk forum. to the future.

The other day I was running a forkdelta, I liked the exchange so that compared to the usual Etherdelta, there are not any brakes, and it works so far that it is very smooth

EtherDelta is a good exchange. Just use Metamask or go to the Tezor hardware wallets, and your coins will be safe. And do not forget to check the name of the site!
If there is another exchange, I prefer to run from ED.
deals are very slow and gas is huge, that's one of the reasons I want to go.
DEX will probably become ED's biggest rival.
I hope so. They always start well, then as time goes on it becomes crazy. I stopped using etherdelta and idex just because of the fee and the gas I have to pay for deposit. It sucks mate! I rather just prefer waiting for the token to get listed on a centralized exchange that is trustable and then trade it there.

Etherdelta has so many times shown not to be secured with series of attack most especially if the site could be diverted, so nothing makes the different then ?
I do AGREE the fees from etherdelta and Idex are too much. There are time where I cant get my token traded because of those ridiculous fees. Plus idex is always at maintenance which is totally annoying. Developers are getting more abusive as their exchange gets more popular.

I heard that the founders of this exchange quarreled and are now solving their problems in court. This is very bad news. I'm glad that we have an alternative - ForkDelta, so now I'm using it instead of etherdelta. It's based on the same smart contract so etherdelta and forkdelta have the same orders book.

With metamask, I believe anyone will be fine, at least with the level of security metamask has and not having to use your private key but just connects metamask directly.

The same thing to apply to idex and other Ethereum based decentralized exchanges anyway. Trezor is a cold storage and there is no way you can trade with that, which for anyone who is not trading would not have anything to do with EtherDelta in the first place.

until now more users is still hesitating to exchange in etherdelta after the massive hacking that happens lately.this incident goes to lots of victims whos almost lost ll of their funds just by fully trusting this exchange.i just wish and hope that they are now doing more secured features and assurance to the clients so they will trust the site again

is that said that etherdelta is still safe at the moment? i think yes. and i agree there were differences within the team. they r now in the solving process. dont trade in e-delta before solving all these problems. try maybe to choose other exchange transactions as far as u can.

I don't feel safe trading on Etherdelta. Etherdelta is now started working again in the new name of forkdelta. Though EtherDelta is a good Exchanger for short term trading but I think it is not safe for long term holder. The etherdelta alternatives so far that I know is Forkdelta, Aurora Idex.

There's no etherdelta anymore, YEAH before after the hacked of etherdelta and the problems occur on transferring token ETHERDELTA became the worst exchange by that time,
well after those typhoons that went to the site!they immediately made the move for the better.
FORKDELTA now is their platform which has faster and better performance!

https://forkdelta.github.io/ <--- this is their new website!

Why are you not using metamask
I agree with you, I also use metamask and I often do trade in etherdelta and until now my coin is always safe, and I never feel lost.

I must admit that the new Etherdelta team did an excellent job, and the updated version showed itself very well, although the interface upgrade is still necessary ...

Im pretty sure that there is a lot of exchanging site similar to etherdelta you just have to google them (Cryptocurrency exchange sites). If you are worried about etherdelta being hacked, you dont have to worry if you dont log in to it. The hacking starts only when the hackers have access to your private key but to be honest, being hacked is in the users fault since you have your asset in you wallet, you should be very carefull with them. Etherdelta posts announcements and warning on the home page so be aware of those also i advice that you should always check the url before logging in. If you think that the url changed, you should stop because that site is hacked.

Most tokens are traded in etherdelta. However, there are also many alternatives in which erc20 compatible address of the exchanges and trading sites. Livecoin.net, kucoin and many others are compatible with erc2o tokens. Just try to explore other trading or exchange sites.
That is one of the main reasons we do not have any choice making use of EtherDelta anyway. There is no exchange site that you cannot send your erc20 tokens to as long as the token is listed, but for most of the tokens that you will only have to trade on EtherDelta, there is pretty much no choice than to make use of EtherDelta.

However, I usually prefer the normal exchanges for easy trading and transaction than the decentralized exchanges.

Now there are a few alternative exchanges. I think more alternatives will emerge. This will benefit all of us in the face of reduced fees and increased quality of services.

ERC20 tokens are being traded mostly in etherdelta the hack incident is a huge impact to the users, and i dont find any alternative exchange for the tokens, what will happen to our ICO tokens?doomed.
Decentralized exchanges are not ready to manage all those altcoins even if they could in theory do it most decentralized exchanges are lacking in some way or another and we are still looking for the first decentralized exchange to reach mass adoption and that is only going to happen if they offer the same functionality as centralized exchanges.
