Why did I lose on trade ??

Hello I don’t understand I bought for 4000 Eur one hour ago of Ethereum when it was going up, it stayed around the 10-20%, it started to decrease 5 minutes ago so I sold it and now cex.io just gave me 3500eur for it... wtf...
The %came from me watching livecoinwatch.. Cex.io doesn’t have the accurate price ??

What does it mean? before you sell you have to see the price, you say down after 5 minutes then what percentage decrease ethereum when you sell it? look again at your trade history try to calculate whether you lose or not.

I think this is a new market, constantly fluctuating and very difficult to guess. We can see that within the first five weeks of 2018 we had to witness a dramatic drop in bitcoin loss of 70% to $ 6,000. At the moment I think we are not commercial bitcoin, very dangerous. You should carefully study other coins and trade them.

Many people are loosing patience and selling them at low price in the market. See every potential coin will take time to rebounce it's price, so we have to hold as long as possible inorder to make more profit on the investment we make.

patience is the one things that sometimes we don't have to wait for the price increase back. without have patient, we are going to get lose and we don't have any chance to make a profit if the price increases higher. no matter what we do, if we are not patient to wait, then we only get lose on trade and we should learn how to manage our emotion for waiting for the price increase back.

One of the easiest thing to experience in trading cryptocurrency is loss! If you don't understand  the workings of trading process and you can not easily process number as fast as your eyes can see then you are bound to make serious mistake that could ruin you funding!

You lose because you sold. If you had left it and focus on other trades for some weeks, you could have made some gains. Yes, you bought when the price was high, but the price would certainly rise higher.

You have to consider transactions fees on all of your trades maybe the reason you lose your money is that the fee is higher to your gain.

You don't get the problem of the OP or the scene, the problem is he bought with the price based on euro and not by dollars and he doesn't said that he sold. The price varies in the bitcoins price and in dollars not in euro when bitcoins price drop ethereum drops a minimal amount however if you saw how much is its equivalent in the physical money it actually losses about 50% down.

You should become aware about the risk of the trading. Trading is very hard job because it is very time consuming. You can earn big amount of money and also you can lose big amount of money if you don't use effective strategy and techniques.

I think you are selling too fast, if you can wait a little longer whether it's 2-3 days, maybe you will benefit from the initial capital that you spend at the beginning. Try a little patience in trading in order to get a good profit.

You lose because you don't have enough patience. Every trader should have patience for them to make more money.  If you want to overcome your losses in trading, you should improve your patience.

it's better to look at coinmarketcap if it's true that it happened because I'm not really sure there's a way for the site you're exchanging your exchanger so it's better to check that for your lost money and you should contact support for further details .

I think the reason why you lose your money in trading because your strategies are not enough. You should improve your trading strategies by reading many post in this forum. This bitcoin forum can help you to become successful trader.

The strategy is not working for sure, we will lose as that is part of our journey as a trader but we have to ensure that we
change our strategy in order to correct our mistakes. There are a lot of things that we can learn if we are willing to accept the changes that will come
and in the end our main purpose is just to get the success.

If you do not want to lose in trading, make a clear trading method, complete with criteria for entry and exit, per trade risk and risk / reward ratio, run trading plan with discipline and emotional control during trading, last for trading journal to evaluate, where just the less and increase the profit percentage.

You lose because you don't have enough patience. Every trader should have patience for them to make more money.  If you want to overcome your losses in trading, you should improve your patience.

First, why on earth will he be making a trade on an exchange and looking at the value somewhere else to make a trade. If he wants to trade, why not just move the funds to a proper exchange and start trading there. Also, why would he even want to trade without any knowledge about trading ? Patience is not the problem here; he needs to know exactly what he wants to do. Is he holding for long term or does he want to trade. If he is holding for long term, he has no business shorting, and if he wants to trade, I believe by now, he knows he really has a lot to learn.

Some reasons why some people who are starting to trade suffer to losses is they do not practice their selves well because they believe they can surely win without taking a trial and error session or the other reason is the price of coins in cryptocurrencies has been dumped or down then they decide to sell it eventhough they will suffer to losses. It also called panic selling.
