I've been working on a payment gateway for merchants based upon the blockchain API. It basically uses all the same rules as their Payment Gateway.

If anyone wants to test it here is the url:
Code:
http://gamecoin.kicks-ass.net/api/receive?method=create&address=$receiving_address&callback=$callback_url

$receiving_address should be the GameCoin Address you want the funds to be forwarded to
$callback_url should be an URL Encoded url.

Please refer to the information on the Blockchain API, it should be pretty much identical and you should send *ok* from your callback url once you've acknowledged that you have enough confirmations on the forwarded transaction. Please give feedback if you get chance to test it. Forwarding should happen within 2.5 minutes (block target) of you sending the payment and there is a 0% fee.

If anyone wants to test but doesn't physically have any GameCoin. Please download the wallet (linked in the first post) and send me your wallet address via PM and I'll hook you up with a few coins to test with.

NOTE: The system I've written could be easily adapted to other coins.  Wink

Please test my GAMEcoin Pool

Hey guys!

Great work! I just updated all my clients and restarted the pool again (1% fee). Since there already is a blockexplorer I haven't enabled that. Still need to upgrade some hardware before I attempt that again Wink

The thread is stickied for a few days. I've been having a tough time deciding what to sticky, as it seems there may be a few threads that are adding "MANDATORY UPDATE" or something along those lines, that really don't need to be updated, but just want to be stickied. If anyone has a real mandatory update, like GameCoin seems to have, please pm me. I try to check out all of the threads, but I do miss some unless someone pms me or reports the post.

Next time guys, feel free to PM me. I'll either sticky the thread, or give a clear explanation as to why I wont. I don't bite  Grin often

Can you please pay attention to the efforts that some devs and small communities have put into their coins. GME was dead but it was revived successfully and has gained more users than most of the coins you have added in a month, we are tired of jumping through hoops yet being overlooked. Baby coins barely a week old are given preference to coins that have shown an actual community, though we do not know your criteria, i am sure we have done passably well already.

Add a +1 on the bitjohn cryptsy post if you agree with me.

Thanks for the sticky.
Updated and running latest wallet.

With the rekindled interest in GameCoin, have any additional game begun accepting it besides video blackjack? I'd like to see a bunch of various casino lottery style games myself.

I think we need it to get traded first. As soon as we know the price of one GME, maybe some devs get interested

I'm not looking for game devs to adopt the Gamecoin currency. Rather Gamecoin adopt games. I want to spend my Gamecoins on the roulette table, craps, slots, and other gambling style games based on risk and luck.
I don't see any game devs bringing an outside uncontrollable source into their game for an ingame currency. Entertainment holds a value all of it's own outside of how many GME = one bitcoin.

Gamecoins don't need to be on an exchange or be labeled with a current value denomination. If I can bet 1k Gamecoins on a flip of the coin I gladly would. But at the moment there is little offered in terms of play-ability with the coins. Of course I'd like to see them on an exchange and receive the recognition for the small devoted community behind them, but it's not top priority. Alt coins are in a strange place/state of mind right now. Because smaller alt coin exchanges exist that add new alt coins left and right. Alt coins in general seem to be getting away from idea of innovation and something new, instead have turned into a race to get onto exchanges.

If you read the first 2 posts on this thread,(perhaps it is not so clear) you can see that the fix does not go into effect until block 60,000. But you need to update your wallet to this new version 0.8.1 before August 15, 2013.

Not clear but makes sense since you explained it. I have the updated client, Thanks!

Yeah as long as you have v0.8.1, when August 15th hits, they're gonna knock out all the old versions, all people with the old versions will be blacklisted, and it'll also fix the display issue. This is gonna get Epic Cheesy

I've added a sizeable list of nodes on the first post (all of them are running GameCoin v0.8.1). not sure if all the nodes jahmonaut posted are using v0.8.1 (I can see some are the same as my node list) but if there are any gaps and they're definitely using v0.8.1 I'll add the missing peers.

jahmonaut, can you confirm any of the missing ones are definitely using v0.8.1?

Only BigVern can answer that for sure. All I can tell you is it's currently at #3 in the list of potential coins to be added to cryptsy so we're hoping it'll be listed soon.
