OK, I found an old post of mine with a BTC address that I still have ..
I have no idea what a "bitcoin signed message" is nor how to do it ..

I read thru the tutorial you linked above ..
The BTC wallet I was going to use is a blockchain.info wallet ..
which if I read the tutorial correctly no longer supports "signed messages" ..
This is really frustrating as I KNOW who I am ..
It's apparently easier to "hijack" a BitCoinTalk account than to recover one
for the person that got "hijacked" in the first place .. namely ME ..
I hope the person that "hijacked" me is pleased with him or her self ..
Guess I'll just have to be "WasTriffin" going forward ..
