Dollar cost averaging is your best friend.  It's a little deceiving when you see 'buy the dip' 'buy at 25% off', as it can easily be perceived as the last time that coin/token will be 25% off.  That's nowhere close to the truth.

The question that you should be asking yourself is whether you'll be going long term or short term for your investment on those coins. If you're going long term, I advice you to buy them now (but not all in) as they have more room to grow in the future. The price really doesn't really matter if your goal is for long term holding. And, if you are looking for a short term one, entry point is everything and you should be picky on your entry price. Plan first before making any buying decision in any coin that you want to invest with.

I missed the dip the other day and am wondering if I should hold out for another dip or if the current prices are still decent. Mainly looking at litecoin and etherum. I also need coins regardless so I can exchange for other altcoins.

As for now, if I were you, better start investing into cryptocurrencies right now while most of the coins in the market are still on dump which is a real good scenario and good time or rather the best time to avail and invest into potential cryptocurrencies so that when the prices came back from the dump turning out into pump is you can have the great possibility to gain a large profit from those investments you have. Better do it now before the prices goes on pump because more likely you can experience loss due to dumps when the prices are availed on high prices.
