I missed the dip the other day and am wondering if I should hold out for another dip or if the current prices are still decent. Mainly looking at litecoin and etherum. I also need coins regardless so I can exchange for other altcoins.

no you dont still missed the dip, as i see bitcoin is still on the dip because it is still on the 14k dollars range and infact it can still possibly deplete because were are still on december and we are now close to new year and that simply means people were still expected to dispose their coins to be able to purchase important items for the holidays season. therfor id say that you must wait a little longer because sooner or later bitcoin will then again decrease more evenly and that will be the best time to have an advantage on it by buying it in bulk to be able to save more.

Invest now. The earlier the better. According to the news days ago, bitcoin drastically crash. You can buy it now with a lesser price. You will surely gain profit once it shoot up in value again some time in the future.

Invest now, you can later wait until its price increase more than your prior investment. But if you are really a careful investor then try to wait for the price of the coin you prefer to fall down before buying it, specially since altcoins value are much slower to increase compared to bitcoin.

To be honest I would suggest for you to buy Ethereum right now. The price of Ethereum at the time of posting this is $668.84. In honesty there if you really want to invest in any crypto currency you should do it as soon at possible because you will never know when will the coins or tokens that you have will spike its price, remember crypto currency is very volatile. Also investing on any crypto will take time for you to profit if you do not have the patience for that then might as well do not invest on anything. Same goes if you will be trading, sure you will get your profits faster however it is really risky if you do not have the right knowledge.

when the coin you want to buy is low that is the right time to buy and then hold it until the coin is high. and you just have to figure out that your purchased coin is a good roadmap for sure your income.

If you don't want to wait for the dip, you could try dollar cost averaging. Set aside an amount of money, and every week or day, buy the coin/token you want with a fixed percentage of the money you had set aside. It's one of the safest route to enter the market.

There will never be a perfect time to invest, more than likely, unless you're extremely lucky, you will buy and experience both dips and peaks. If you can afford to lose your money invest it, if you cant, don't.

At the moment prices will be lower than they have been due to people cashing in to pay for their Xmas shopping. I would expect that, and this is purely speculation, once the banks reopen, after the Xmas break, prices will probably bounce back up. But, that said, they will probably drop down again for new years/around new years due to people over spending when celebrating the date changing on the calender.

I like your way of thinking. I also think that there is no perfect time to invest because no one knows the market trend. However, each person has his own plan and chooses it to accept whatever results.

In the crypto community, the only time that you wait is when you already have your investments in place and if there is an upcoming fork or dip in your chosen coin. Other than that, you invest. When you invest, one of the majot factor that you will be considering once you have chosen the coin that you want to invest in is your financial capacity. So long as you are capable of investing, invest right away because if we wait, there is no assurance that the coin's value will go down or not.
