How do I view it? I think it's the most retarded thing ever. The color of someones skin DOES NOT define them as a person, nor does it define their morals and values. Yes it is very much alive in my country. I am part of the majority and have never been oppressed in any way because of my race. However I see it all the time. If you are racist, you are scum.

racism is one form of self-conceit, they (who doing racism) think they'r better then the other. but the truth is, they more despicable. and yaa, sometime i saw one or two racism, and altough i hate it,  i think it still alive.

In the animal kingdom race is defined as such: a genetically distinct population of individuals within a species. Race leans more toward the biology of a species, having morphological, and genetic differences. Ethnicity is more or less based upon associations related to culture.
Unfortunately race can't be simplified down to either black or white. There are a good 4 or 5 different main roots of races within the human species. The intersexing of these roots give us many variations,  plus add in a multitude of different climates, and the hue of the skin will either lighten, or darken.
   Racism is a result of cultural shock, and the unacceptable notion of inevitable change. We as humans fear what we don't understand, so if you're different from me, even though we are both human, I may be skeptical of trusting you, due to ethnic differences (hypothetically speaking).
   The united States is a perfect melding pot for breaking down social, and racial barriers, because the laws and regulations only see the people as Americans, not blacks, whites, etc. It is the citizens who breed contempt amongst each other because of their subtle differences. We as a human species have come a long way in our evolution. Some day we will look past race, and ethnicity, and only see each other as people.

Talk about racism there are two poles of opinion, that is first all human beings basically have racist nature, while the second environment where we are affecting a person to be and act racist. This study for the first time reveals that repeated racial discrimination will have an adverse effect on mental and physical health.
The results of this study show how the accumulated experiences of racist acts received by a person such as a curse and a physical assault make a person afraid of being in a public place and feeling insecure because the individual is from a certain ethnic minority that is the target of the majority ethnic hatred.

We shouldn't look at the color of skin or the outside appearance. We are diverse people, but there is beauty in diversity. This diversity complement each other. Serving, loving, caring and living is not about the skin or the outside appearance, its about the heart, how you serve, how you care and how you live. Unless you are not stepping the dignity of the other, racism is not a big deal.

We need not to judge other people because of the tone of their skins but we should see them inside, their beautiful hearts, colors can't defined who we are not all white people are good and not all black or brown people are bad. What I have noticed about the humans is that they don't like anyone who doesn't look like them or speak like them. I am living in India and many times I have seen Indians discriminating against those with white, yellow or black skin. If you don't have brown skin, then you may face a lot of harassment in India. And it is not just affecting the tourists. Even the Mongoloid-looking Indians from the northeast are heavily discriminated against in the other parts of India.

Here are some tips to overcome racism :

1. Self reflection. Do a self reflection towards the feeling of racism, what particular group is becoming the victim, what you think about that group, what the cause of that feeling of racism is, etc.

2. Explore the topic of 'Race'. Learn about what racism is, what the history is, what the definition is, etc. Read books about racism, join anti-racism programs, listen to anti-racism speech or campaign.

3. Be open minded. Follow the development of times, don't stuck to the traditional mindset.

4. Stop having negative thoughts about certain groups. Every thing they do must have a particular purpose in accordance to their customs.

I never understood racism! Similarly, there are genius or just good people in any nation as there are shitheads, regardless of their origin! But I can confidently say that all the racists are exactly shitheads! These are backward underdeveloped people in my opinion. But unfortunately, as a society can not exist without maniacs and murderers, it also can not exist without representatives of racist organizations.
Manifestations of racism - a malignant tumor in the body of the society, from which we need to get rid of, but not yet invented treatment.
