I saw e-dollar on hashvault.pro and mined a little amount for future opportunity.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

To me this seems like a BS coin. I became interested in it because I thought it would be exciting to mine a ton of a new unlisted cryptonight coin with a low difficulty and wait 6 months or a year. But after looking into it I am less than impressed. The web page makes a very ambitious claim up front: "The digital currency of the future for every human" but there is literally nothing to back up this claim. There is nothing to distinguish this coin from other cryptonight coins, although the authors claim otherwise, but with no references to anything substantial. They couldn't even be bothered to write a white paper - they simply provide a link to the cryptonote white paper. Sorry guys, but this just looks like a bunch of guys who got together and figured they could make some money forking monero with minimal effort, premining 2% for themselves, and "generously" airdropping another 2% to gain attention. Get listed, pump and dump, then bye-buy all you suckers. Yeah, and as others pointed out, the name is BS too. You can't even google it, because google thinks you are searching for "dollar" and you get tons of irrelevant hits. You have to put "edollar" in quotes And guys, do realise there are already TWO coins with the symbol EDC? And when you google search "EDC cryptocurrency", it isn't the Edollar that comes up, but these other two coins (e-Dinar and the EducoinV)? That shows you just how much research effort the founders of this coin put into it before releasing it!! Due diligence, people. Yeah, You are free to criticize, every coin is BS coin at the beginning even Bitcoin and Ethereum. If you don't like this coin, just move on. As Devs said that they may change the symbol EDC if needed, But it's all right for everyone and for exchange if there are more coin with the same symbol. Does anyone criticize about BitcoinGold vs Bitgem (same symbol BTG), Bytom vs Bitmark (same symbol BTM) ...?

There is a help in edollar-wallet-cli but I must confess that It's hard to use as normal user. We are developing GUI wallet and It will be released soon in early of next month.

Why do you say on your ANN that your coin in addition has confidential ring signatures? XMR has that, too.
I said that all transactions are RingCT. XMR has that only in recent transactions (after hard-fork v6), previous transaction does not have this features. I see, but it isn't really a selling point then for you in my opinion. XMR has a massive network and RingCT working now even though it was a little bit later. And obviously you forked XMR after hard-fork v6 so you didn't even develop it yourself correct? So,that means removing many redundancies, making the program lighter and efficient then adding ringCT algorithm based transaction to the coin then implementing features like removal of need of payment id or integrated address because he enabled sub address/sub acccount feature all by himself doesn't count any thing at all. He didn't do anything... All he did was click on two or three things and we have our edc ready and right in front of our eyes?

If anyone with a decent posting history here would like to sell some edollar I'm making a similar offer to the one I made in the Dero thread. I'm offering a $100 CANADIAN prepaid mastercard for 40,000 edollar to help give this coin a bit of real world value. https://imgur.com/a/w9V7C - a picture of a card I picked up today for more crypto This is also the account name I use on Reddit write to me at telegram @ propro31

Hi All, We have changed edollar symbol from EDC to EDL, Because the symbol EDC has been already taken by EducoinV. This change does not affect to the whole eco-system, We will update software and github source code too.
@All pool owner, Please change the symbol EDC to EDL too.
Thank you all for your support, votes, suggestions and opinions.
