Two rounds of airdrop have been held, and I believe there will be a third round of close attention. Wink

Do we rly need huge attention right away? I intend to mine shitload of coins, only than can the crowds of other adopters come and increase the price by two or three folds. It's finally time for me to get really rich outta the cryptos, right?  Grin Grin

Not sure if I am doing anything wrong, but I've switched two of my miners from XMR to EDL. So I got the CLI wallet, generated a wallet and used the main public address for the pool.edollar.cash. It seems to mine OK, according to the pool I already mined couple thousand EDL, I can see the outgoing transactions. But the wallet still shows no transactions and 0 on it. Deamon is running and says it is synced. So where's the problem? Do I have to use a sub-address or something?
OK got that solved. The daemon is running it's own local network of height 1, after adding the exclusive node with recommended address for syncing it works and started syncing the actual network. Should be "rich" in couple hours Smiley

I would love to know how you did that as I have the same issue! Thank you in advance.

As per this post:
Hi Dev. windows gui/daemon cannot sync. Even did as someone suggested by typing: edollard --add-exclusive-node 77.103.133.157:33030. They still cannot sync.  What's problem? It just stalked.
Not even sure how to manage to run the daemon through the GUI app with parameters, I started the daemon manually with this switch through command line. Once it is running, the GUI wallet connects to the daemon through localhost address and reads if there are some changes regarding your wallet.

I am thinking, since so far the daemons are syncing to some remote node rather than the whole network, could the wallet also connect to remote node directly, as monero wallets do? It may not be so interesting now, but as the blockchain will rise in size, it will be pain to sync it and keep stored locally.

We are working on remote node... it will be introduced soon... with lots of improvements and bug fixes...

create a new .txt file in the folder with your edollard.exe
Change its content to the following:
Code:
del C:/ProgramData/eDollar
edollard --add-exclusive-node 77.103.133.157:33030

Edit the file extension from .txt to .bat

Doubleclick the .bat

It will delete your blockchain folder (first command) and afterwords download the new blockchain via the exclusive node.

Hope I could help

This way is faster, and you can redo it in seconds (double click again) if it didn't work ^^

Hi guys
If I am using CLI wallet, do I need to change anything for the hardfork ? I assume I will need to use a new version of XMR stak that is yet to be released?

Dogs are nice, I don't like cats though.

Yeah that's a good question, are we going to have to change miners or something? Or will the change go just on the pools?

I genuinely appreciate the offer!

Right now it's looking like 27.5kh/s will yield 40k edc in 24hr roughly or around 14 - 14.5 Sumo ($100 USD)

After factoring in the risk of picking up an unlisted coin I felt that $100 CAD ($80.14 USD at posting) would be fair

Edit: Corrected post to reflect that I was refering to the hashing power required in 24hr for those coins

I would like to participate in the airdrop, but HOW? Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see any information (not in the announcement post nor in the opening post of this thread).

Do I have to do anything special? Is there some form I have to fill out after March 25? Smiley
