Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

The "stupid button" comment is separate from the pretty picture showing the layers of script; it's referring to the LMGTFY button along with the other buttons. It's like saying, "look stupid, all you had to do is Google, was that so hard??" (although that's 90% of new posts). I did just use that service when the three-word-search and "get lucky" was the exact answer, though.
Ok I see!
Well, I know I sometimes need it so I thought it would be useful for others
Do you want me to hide it for you? Grin

You should test things when you don't know what it is, or ask here what it is for

If there are CSS coders over here, I can put your code directly in BT++
  • I create a 'CSS coder' account on my server
  • You can upload there new versions of your CSS whenever you want
  • They replace the previous one after I review them

Also, your quotes seem broken

Find the thread number (index.php?topic=NUMBER.etc...), then go to settings and fill the correct form
Format is

Could you add a little ignore button to the thread list as well, I have hundreds of threads I want to ignore.

Also, I have ignored 3 threads, yet I still see them when I'm browsing the forums...

Done (0.2.74): right-click a thread link and hit 'Hide this thread'

I also changed the voting buttons style, tell me if it's ok

To visualize more easily who you voted for, the voting buttons are highlighted according to your vote (black means you voted this)
So beware when posting screenshots, it can be easy to guess your vote list if the highlighted voting buttons are present in the pic

Nope, not in there, maybe just a little red icon that can be clicked?
I didn't want to put too many additional layers, there are already the trust ✔, the score and the note icon
I don't think putting an icon next to each thread link would be visually acceptable
Let me see why it doesn't work on Chrome and if it's too much of a hassle to fix I'll do that anyway

Strange, in .75 that options is gone. So it was from this script, but wasn't trigging an ignore, was trigging the evernote option (the next one down in the list of services).

Suggestions:

  • Add link to this thread to the btc++ settings page
  • Make it so that if there's going to be a break in between the persons rating, that it breaks the whole thing to the next line (see attached photo).
  • Make the text box for notes reload any current notes into it, so that if you want to just add to the notes, or edit the note a little bit you don't have to retype the whole thing
