before you invest in altcoin make sure you do not make emotional decision, because lot of investors are losing their  money because of this  so , check the market cap and research the coin project, the team, project, road, possibilities, alliances , check their update , just because of attractive website do not not get in , you can use social media and bitcointalk  to get your research , do not invest in someone opinion , invest in your own trust  and knowledge

As a newbie, I have little experience in choosing a promising altcoin and there must be some important thing that I don't know now in the process of choosing a altcoin. I want to stand on the shoulders of giants and I hope you can teach me something. Thank you.
Speculate the coins first if you are going to buy them. The more coins that you have, the better. Try researching the trending altcoins or coins that has potential and buy those coins as a form investment.

It is best to invest in the top 10 altcoin in https://coinmarketcap.com/.Because the top 10 will be safe, less fluctuate up and down of the value, help you control the wallet. Especially bitcoin and ETH, I think you should focus more on these 2 Altcoin if you are newbie

It is better to do your own research to see which coins are mostly trading in trading sites and their behavior with time. Doge, wave, eth, ltc are good coins to start trading.

I think that in this choice, the best assistant is you. In order not to go on about the majority, try to get acquainted with promising coins himself.

If you are new to trading with crypto currency, then my advice to you is: find a mentor who already knows how to trade with profit and learn from him. So you are guaranteed not to lose money and quickly learn how to trade.

You must research the coin, the team behind it and their white paper. You must know if the developer is active and ofcourse you need to know the roadmap. Do not invest in shitcoins unless your ready to gamble your fortune.Invest on the coin/token which have a good performance and high market capital. Its good also to have a target hold of coins instead of trading daily because of high risk of losing money.Just invest and hold it for longterm. Invest on a good coin which is already have a good background and you can relax all the time and dont stress your self.

You must do your own research. You can find a lot of good sugestions here in bitcointalk. But be aware there are a lot of people shilling there own position in a token and it might not even bee a good pic. Read read and read some more and you will find a gem. There are a lot of good pics that already have gone to exchanges so you don't have to do a ICO to find a realy good one. Best of luck to you!

Very simple. Follow many intelligent discussion on Alternative coina and try to research some of the idea that are been presented on the forum. If you are convinced of the benefit of altcoin that you are following, take a plunge and buy as much as you can!

I can recommend you to look for some info on coinmarketcap. It's a great place to research coins and here you can know the far and well of how these altcoins are doing in the crypto market by clicking on a coin.

First things first is their capacity to grow, this include their target market, vision and projected success period. Good altcoin would always have a active communities, passionate dev with constant updates and of course a good leader who are constantly pursuing for better exposure along with professional marketing team. This are key factor to ensure your alt would grow over time and it's just matter of time for its current value to rocket when they could seriously obtain a good deal, partnership, or just simply being able to commercialise their product .

Stick to some telegram and subscribed updated and eventually you could find some, my suggestion were DAR, SNT, COSS and DNT

The best learning is to learn by living. Learning through trial-and-error gives you both experience and courage.
I would recommend you to research first and then start investing in a small amount.

Good coins are listed at the top of the coinmarketcap, it's the best way to determine which is good. Those listed at the top are most likely will give you more stable profit. But if you fall short on budget, choose only the cheaper once and don't focus on just one altcoins, choose a variety of coins.

There are a lot of strong altcoyns that I would recommend to draw your attention to. But now the market is overheated, in your place I would be cautious and watched coins like NEO, ADA, ELF, COMSA, KIN, SC (January).
