For you to find out the good altcoin, the first thing that you need to do is it has to be a KYC or whitelisting for sure that coins is a legit one. This coin what I'm talking about can only be find in the ico first before it listed on exchange.

yes the best way to find the good coin is doing your own research. when you found the coin that meet your interest invest on it and hold it.

If I want to buy some new coins, I usually open sites like Coinmarketcap to see whether they are at least in top-30. I'd recommend to choose from the top-10. They are more stable and trustworthy.

i think you should doing by your own research to find a good alts.
track record its whitepaper and roadmap of those alts, if those alts enter to a good market and the roadmap still have a long plan, and the whitepaper support the current condition, i think that will be a good alts

Of course youtube and article reviews are importantly needed to support our research to make sure that those alts are really promising

I will say a good thing to every one that if you feel any problem you must share that in this forum. there are very skillful and wise people are here they are very experienced and experts they will provide you a knowledge and guidance relating to your question. for finding best coin i like the litecoin and degicoin to be the god one in the priority list bitcoin is on top and all other are after that. I personally like Ethereum and bitcoin for long run i want to buy and hold it for many years.

Check the coinmarketcap site you will find the top listed cryto currencies there according to the current market supply in the market place at present now. You want to buy the altcoins invest on waves, neo, qutum, ripple and zcash.
These coins are seems now perfect in the marketplace supply.

You must figure out about that coin carefully. You need check develope team, is there anyone that had a bad review or fake information. beside, you need to research what that altcoin will apply social. Checking its community, is it positive or not ?  And finally, it must gain targets in roadmap
