As a newbie, I have little experience in choosing a promising altcoin and there must be some important thing that I don't know now in the process of choosing a altcoin. I want to stand on the shoulders of giants and I hope you can teach me something. Thank you.

I think ethereum and bitcoin are the best coins to start trading with cryptocurrencies. Also you can follow the price tables and the pump news, and start trading with small amounts and with different altcoins. Good luck!

Did you make successful investments by applying them? What coins did you buy and sell?

There are different ways to look for a good altcoin if there is a lot of interest on the current coin that you like. The only best thing to look for are those famous coins that most people are investing because that are the only coins that has potential to grow its value. Ethereum , Bitcoin , Litecoin. You can choose on this coin to start depending on your capital.

I use first two links especially recently added coins in coinmarketcap. You can choose some coins from that list and go to their website to check team members, their experiences. you can check their advisors, investors etc. After that you can decide if you want to buy or not.

I am using coinmarketcap recently added coins but I did not know coindar and icotracker. They look like can be quite helpful to find good solid alt coins. Generally just using coinmarketcap I caught a lot of nice coins.

To find a good altcoin, can also be seen from the volume of trade and demand in the market, if the volume of trade and demand is crowded, meaning that the coin is good, but if the coin has not been on the market, then we can see the potential coin from ico

First it is hard to predict how successful ICO will be but generally the backbone of any successful ICO is the managment team. you can check how hard working the team is by joining their social media pages and see how much they update investors and how they intend to make the project to be successful. another factor that determine a successful ICO is the realistic Idea. there will be many ICO even those with the same goals but the idea behind each means alot

Only after studying the project, and not the opinions on the forum, you will be able to correctly invest your money in crypto coins.
