R3wt as in the blackmailer who used control of Vlad's project repo to try to blackmail him?

or is it claimed some other blackmailer somehow took control of that repo from R3wt?

-MarkM-

That is not true. i never blackmailed Vlad, he stretched the truth on numerous occasions of what went on between us in PM's. he said he didn't know how to use GIT, and asked me to keep control of the repo. then after shit hit the fan he demanded access to the repo. i had to dig through my email to find the email from shakezula with the username and password. i never even logged in. after i sent him the coins, he apologized in the thread and in pms for his boisterous statements.

So how were blackmail notes materialising on github in that repo?

-MarkM-

i posted the github login credentials in the thread. if he wants to go to github he can. i can prove it wasn't me. i have a static ip and no vpn.

I think you are not being truthful.   Please link directly to the post in "the thread" were you posted the github login credentials.

Really, no one trusts you r3wt.  Doesn't matter if you grovel a 1000 times in fake apology threads.   You're a joke now.

Just please set a honest release date and announce in advance, and dont premine.
This!
We aren't sure when it's going to come out, and chances are (due to the clutter in the altcoin section) most people will miss it's release date. Once you have everything wokred out, please set an release date (exact hour and such).

If you're not going to release the code, please can you release the value of the TimeStamp used for the generation of the first block?

i am being truthful. i did it out of spite then i felt bad about it and deleted it, and pm'd the credentials to Vlad instead.

i don't care if you don't trust me. doesn't affect me at all. i made my amends and now i'm working on repairing things with Gascoin. i did nothing wrong to Vlad. he apologized to me for making those false claims against me about the repo. only thing i did was refuse to send him the entire premine. at the time, he had me in charge of the coin and i had most of the premine in my NUG wallet. i wanted to start some bounties, but everytime i asked about he would just gripe that the coin was worthless, and to send him all the coins. i sent him every stinking dime even the ones i mined on my own, just to lay that demon to rest. my conscience is clear.

catch ya later troll.

ok so here is the news: i was unable to get the block rewards to work, after days and days fighting with it. i've decided to do this instead:

leave block rewards at 1 coin per block. after 400,000 blocks, this will be reduced to .777 coins per block until the end of time. my partner and i, will mine a share of coins apiece prior to launch. probably 500 coins apiece. (500 blocks) this will mean that by the time the client is released, 1000 coins will already exist.

the good news is: the premine will be alot less.

the bad news is: 500+20 block maturity means 3 hours and 20 minutes for blocks to mature.

In the end, i felt the benefits of stake would be to great to ignore just to show off my fancy block rewards. Stake will be active at 5 * CENT or 5% per coin. this will provide checkpoints for the client as well as providing 51% resistance, not to mention the added bonus of stake in your wallet. stake occurs every 10 days.

In light of all this recent revelations, i have decided to withdraw my statement of not releasing the sources, and instead this is how we're gonna do it.

The linux users are always getting screwed, and having to wait until they get the client compiled to get to mine. so the source will be made available in the next 4-5 hours, then shortly after that the qt download will be made available.

starting N factor is 1024, and will climb to 8196 in the next 3 months, making GPU mining a non factor once it crosses over the threshhold of nFactor 8196.

Some future agendas of the coin will be :

bounties
botnet resistance

Interesting, are you sure the YAC or YBC GPU miners won't work?

they will work until N crosses the threshold of 8192.
