What do you think?

Yes, faucets are very useful now, you'll be just surprise when the price turns 1 usd per 1 satoshi someday.

I don't really think bitcoin faucets aren't so useful nowadays,
They are just giving a small amount of satoshi while the amount that they require to withdraw is too high.

I really doubt whether any of the faucets are working now. You need around BTC0.002 as transaction fee to withdraw your earnings (I assume that there is a lot of dust associated with the faucet wallets) and you can reach that threshold only after regularly visiting the faucet website 200 or 300 times. And a lot many of the wallet sites turn out to be scams.

Its not. Faucet will be useful if the value of bitcoin get decreased cause the value of faucets increasing if bitcoin value is low. But for now for me faucet is a waste of time. You can do other things to get money than using a lot of time in faucets. Smiley

Not really useful faucets are just a waste of time, effort, electricity and bandwidth lol you cant even buy an icecream if you click on a single faucets for 24 hours much better if you stay away from this sites and look for much better opportunity to earn bitcoins.

The amount of claim is indirectly proportional to the price of a certain cryptocurreny. So if a cryptocurrency's price goes sky ricket, expect faucets to give a very small drops of it. It would be worth it if you started long ago and you have many referrals. Bitcoin's faucets give less nowadays due to its price but we can also give a try to altcoins faucets.

Fyi the rates on faucets also decrease following the price of bitcoin, like freebitco.in. When the price of bitcoin going up, the rates on freebitco.in faucet decrease. In my opinion faucets is really wasting time, it's better to use your time to do another else like do some task like retweeting/tweet on service section.

I still don't understand how someone with Hero level in this forum is still interested in discussing whether doing faucet has become a work that does not waste a time tight now. Well, even the rate of sig camp has decreased. This decrease will continue to occur as it becomes increasingly difficult to obtain bitcoin.

I think the faucet still has its role, at least a little surprise for a lot of people who have just entered the encrypted currency market. Of course, the little tap can only be an incentive, and it's not possible to rely on those as your investment basis.

I think faucets is a good way to introduce the way of earning bitcoin, because faucet is the most simple way to make money, but yhe earning is not too much, for the one that already know about bitcoin, faucet is wasting time and the electricity spending is bigger than the faucet earning

If you have sufficient time ,then you can keep claiming and store it in a wallet , few sathoshi accumulating may result more some day. but only thing now claiming sathoshi amount is very less now compare to earlier, this is because of the bitcoin price is raised to certain level now. If time is the factor them clicking on faucet is not that useful now a days.

The faucet is useful for a new novice like me. I picked up a little onion and SEM today, and I got it very soon. I also know that my new installed wallet is effective.

before faucets are totally one of the biggest wastage of time because of the value of bitcoin is not that high/grow. but now if the reward of faucets are the same as the reward before, that could be considered as a NOT wastage of time, but if the value of bitcoin is high and the reward in faucets will adjusted into what they are paying reward before. that can be considered a big wastage of time. although so many people are addicted in this activities (faucets).

You might find them useful ~7 years ago when faucets are giving out 1-10 BTC per claim but now? It still wouldn't amount to anything but a couple cents. Some faucet operators also lowered down their claim rewards further making your time wasted by completing captchas that just earn them more money in the process. You're better off buying bitcoin and try to hold them in a few months rather than wasting time doing nothing in front of a computer hoping that some samaritan gives you some bitcoins.

Faucets are not (yet) a waste of time, for some at least (freebitco.in and the moon faucets I still use). Even if the amount of satoshi given is low, the amount collected will grow in value in the future with bitcoin price, and they are obtained for free.

When the price of bitcoins increases the faucet points will decrease and it will take more or even years to get to 1 bitcoin as 1 bitcoin is equivalent to ten crore satoshis and faucets work only after half hours or after fifteen minutes and they give 8 -10 satoshi's which is too low and I will not say that it is waste of time as you will be able to earn something out of it in the long run. Faucets are like earning small perils of money but it is something out of nothing.

No, i dont think faucet is useful now. Bitcoin has very high value and make the faucets are dying.
Faucet is more like wasting time. Do many thing and spend more time just for nothing.

These days I think faucets are such a waste of time for collecting Bitcoin. With the  price of bitcoin, it will take year or years to get 1 Bitcoin. And more over the more you collect sotachi from faucets, the more the price of bitcoin incearses and the more time you waste, so its better to buy bitcoin, no matter the price. But for altcoins, faucets can be good for collecting faucets since their price may not be much. At least its still realistic in trying to collect 1 Ethereum from a faucets.

Some faucets require a minimum amount before processing a withdraw, I have used different kinds of faucets and i think most of them, after reaching the minimum amount for withdrawal request still asks for payments or what they call investment before processing your request. If by chance you got some faucet there that you can request withdraw on any amount, Can I have some sites ? ? ?  Grin Grin Grin

The days of bitcoin faucets being profitable or even worth the time are long gone I think.  I’ve never been a fan of them because the rewards are usually measly but requires a lot of time to keep clicking for claims.  Although it is worth noting that it’s free and if one is patient with it, say over 6minths to a year, you might just collect a few thousand sats which in turn may be worth a considerable amount as the price of bitcoin keeps increasing.
To answer the question with a simple answer, i’d Say bitcoin faucets aren’t useful now. Perhaps altcoins faucets might be a better bet.

bitcoin faucet and altcoin faucet is just nothing or let say it is just a waste of time the price of faucet is base on the increase and decrease of bitcoin when the bitcoin increase the value of faucet will decrease their value, look on the faucet when you reach the minimum widrawal and try to widraw it the payment of widrawal is still base on bitcoin for example when you widraw 20000 satoshi you will see it will became 16-17000 when it is arrived on your wallet
