I don't believe ICO's will die in 2018. However due to the scams. I like what the CEO of WePower said regarding ICOs - he said that ICO's in the future will be a mix of what we see today in Venture Capitalism and what ICO's are today.

I will add something to this without the advertisement at the bottom of your message. I really do not think that ICO's will end ever. Remember there are millions of business out there if not tens of millions, and I mean smalll and medium businesses. Hell I bet my favorite sushi bar can take advantage of Crypto and make a sushitoken of its own to finance its small business. Scam companies are everywhere and not just in crypto we just need to be very careful when joining and investing in one.

I think the ICO will not end - It will change the form. 2018 is the year of reverser ICO as you said. They have the product already then join the ICO with the existing product.
All the previous ICO is just base on the ideas and visions - they only sales the idea to the crypto investors.

Now when the blockchain technology is becoming popular, they apply these revolutions to their product and improve it.

Now it is time for the decentralized system.

Im personally a fan of ico. I like to invest in good Ico's. But in the last month there are to many ICO's. Sometime i think everybody is making and ico just for the money. There are less good project behind the ICO's. So it will be good when the flood will stop.

We will see an increase of number of ICOs in months to come because crypto is getting popular, therefore the risk is getting
bigger because we know most of this ICOs are just operating to scam people. We can only determine good ICO if we do due diligence before investing.
