well excellent it would seem nxt and mastercoin are both dead now What? The DEx is now live (we waited for block number 290630 which was supposed to arrive at midnight, but ended up a bit late). Please check out the wallets on mastercoinwallets.org - the orderbook at masterchest.info already shows some sell orders. I have a big blog post ready that will be released later today to celebrate the DEx. The one piece of info that the post is waiting for is a video tutorial for masterchest wallet, that should be ready a bit later today. |

FYI, due to technical limitations in the protocol, the BTC <--> MSC DEx itself does not have a "buy" side, only a "sell" side. The Metacoin DEx that will allow trading MSC vs other MSC-derived currencies will have both buy and sell, and will be simpler than the current DEx. I'll ask J.R to write a post about the different types of DEx and their limitations. |

The DEx is embedded within the wallets. Currently we recommend Masterchest for Windows, or Masterchain for web/linux/mac. See more, along with detailed instructions on mastercoinwallets.org. I would like to also take this chance to point people towards mastercointalk.org - the advantage of that is that we have room to open multiple discussion threads compared to 1-2 big threads on bitcointalk. |

Which one? The best way to change things is to open issues on the implementation you're look at on github, and specify exactly what you don't like there. I've been opening issue en masse for a week or two now. We're going to see some good changes there in the following weeks and months. The targets we have for Q2 roadmap is Super Usable web wallet, and Useable cross-platform Desktop wallet. What we have right now is usable only if you know what you're doing ... and this is definitely far from where we want to be in three months. Your feedback is welcome! |
