maybe. maybe in the next few years cardano will replace etherum. we see from the good side only, the more new crypto that appears to compete with bitcoin, we can use it for investment. whether it's cardano, or etherum, the most important is getting a profit.

It is very hard to predict whether Cardano will replace Ethereum or not.

However, I think what IOHK and Charles Hoskinson's team are doing with their Cardano project is amazing. Their team is stellar, probably one of the best teams I have seen in the cryptospace. And the way they have approached first generation BC shortcomings, from a research perspective, peer-reviewing everything that they plan to implement, is just amazing. Although Cardano has a lot to prove, I am very excited to see what they bring forth over the next couple of years.

Finally, Cardano's success should not mean competition with Etehreum. Ethereum itself is evolving and will only get better with time. So I believe that with global adoption of BC technology there will be more than one or two public BC platforms co-existing, instead of one ruling the world.

I highly doubt it. Cardano has nowhere near the infrastructure built out that ETH has.

I have read lots of posts on both sides at seem valid.  Ethereum and Cardano will BOTH do well.  In my opinion Cardano will not replace Ethereum.  Ethereum is a juggernaut.

actually, I am not sure about this but this could happen if the dev and the team of cardano work serious for their project and they continue the project as they want. I think in cryptocurrency world, everything has the possibility to happen and only a matter a time that will prove. if one coin is really good then people will take a look and choose as their investment and this is what we see with bitcoin as bitcoin is a leader in cryptocurrency. so I think if we want to buy cardano, then we can buy right now while the price is cheap.

Probably not. Ethereum is a working product -- a moving target-- and Cardano is fairly new to crypto and offers revolutionary technology to compensate for that. But what it offers is not enough, the price is just due to speculation and imo, it is over-valued at the moment.

Cardano coin can not replace to the ethereum at any condition in the market because there are so many reasons to run the any coin in the market and ethereum is the second one coin which have very good market value in the crypto world which is the big achievement. I think Cardano was just soar a while so there was nothing to worry about. Besides whatever it is ETH will not be defeated from Cardano though. And also ETH from a few days ago have a very good improvement.

It is also difficult to know what impact Cardano will have if Ethereum’s planned upgrades are successful. If Ethereum is able to process thousands of transactions per second, as well as increase its speed, then other smart contract platforms like Cardano might quickly become irrelevant.

I do not want to offend people who are interested in the ADA project, but I can only say that ETH is an affordable project that today has everything you need, and very soon ETH will be at the highest point in recent times, as there will be improvements.

No , cardano will not be able to replace Ethereum because ranking of coins is not depending the price but also it refers the market capacity of coins for its supply .

At present, there are a lot of coins that have a growth perspective. Cardano among them. This coin is already in 6th place in terms of capitalization. The question is, will this coin grow in price and how much?

I think cardano prices will remain a stand at current prices, I haven't seen a strong reason for cardano price increases given the current market situation and I think cardano will be a long-term investment.

I dont think so, but ETH is one of the strong coin supported by millions of users, and i believe that after the fork, it will continue to soar its value compared to previous weeks in the market.

It was unclear 1 year ago, it's unclear now and it will be so for a looong long time. It's very hard to beat the leader on any market, especially here, because ETH is only one smart contract platform that works, really works. It has scalability issues and Ethereum foundation should solve all of them one day.

well, we don't know what will happen in the future, maybe ethereum will be replaced by cardano or cardano will only reach position  3 or 4 in coinmarketcap, what we can do is just look at the development of each coin.
