Usually Authenticator failures are more the result of inaccurate time or time variations on your phone. If you frequent fly, cross time zones, reset your clock, take out your phone batteries to replace them, then i assure you you will have Authenticator issues because the basic encryption running on all Authenticator Apps runs with time. Your best bet to restore your succesful logins will be to reset the time on ur phone (most phones typically automate this process for u), or more frequently make sure your time zone or daylight savings settings r the correct settings u used when setting up ur Authentication key for whatever site it was u were visiting. Or simply use internet time https://time.is to sync your clock. All the best

I used Binance.com exchange lately and didn't face any problems when depositing or withdraw unlike what others are experiencing. That's why you always need to use 2FA when making an account related to crypto to add an additional security to your account. Anyway, I like the captcha when dragging a piece of jigsaw puzzle when logging in, not like recaptcha that is annoying.

On the binance exchange if i buy at market value do i get charged the same trading fees as doing a buy/sell limit or stop limit order? on gdax there's no fee if you buy as a maker(buy/sell limit order or stop limit order). Just want to verify if binance is the same way or its a % regardless if your a maker or a taker?

As of right now it is a .1% trading fee across the board. However, if you have BNB, you can choose BNB to deduct 50% trading fee from that .1%.

I understand other exchanges operate differently and this is something that could possibly change in the future. We have had similar requests on this matter. I have confirmed other variations will be subsequently introduced including maker-taker.

For security reasons we won't be able to manually transfer over the forum. Since you can't access telegram to speak to a live rep then I suggest you update your ticket or submit a new one to completely reset the Two-Factor Authentication through the Official Binance webpage so you can gain access to your account.

"Resetting Two-Factor Authentication

For anyone that needs to reset their 2FA, you will need to open a support ticket (https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/requests/new). If you already have, please attach the following to it:

1) The front your ID card or passport, with the personal information clearly visible.

2) A picture of the back of your ID card. If using a passport, include a picture of the cover.

3) A picture of yourself with the current date/time on a handwritten note, including your request ("Reset 2FA"), with the front side of your ID card clearly visible.

After you have completed this, we will reset your 2FA as soon as we are able. Once reset, you will be unableto withdraw for 48 hours. This is for the security of your account."

Hi, binance is my favorite exchange I would like to welcome a lot of graph settings for example Bitfinex.
I would also add a button to hide the volume table and to preview the transaction becaouse it can slow PC or notebook with less memory. these life tables use this more memory.

The site looks good with an interesting UI, I have not used so far because:
I have been told that we need to set up 2fa to be able to withdraw. While I understand you are taking security user seriously, it would be nice if you don't force users to have 2fa enabled. A simple warning can be enough, if something happens it's the responsibility of the user.
2FA something I hate, and SMS?  Will I receive a SMS each time? Holy! I am going to receive more SMS from Binance than ladies...

I will add the 2fa SMS but it's really because I am planning to be active in, but again it could be great if we are not forced to use 2fa.

I understand where you're coming from but please realize our company image is on the line each time a user allows their account to get hacked due to being a soft target. We do not want accounts getting compromised which is why we provide users with strict guidelines in order to gain full access to our services. 1FA is extremely risky for both the user and the exchange as it allows hackers to steal funds from the account which becomes a tragic issue for both parties.

Binance's Stance on Bitcoin Forks:

For future hard forks of Bitcoin, Binance will take a snapshot at the time of fork. After the forked blockchain and wallet are available and stable, Binance will credit the forked coins to users and allow 7 days to withdraw their forked coins. For trading on Binance, the forked coin will go through the same strict listing review process as any other coin. It will not be listed by default. Going forward, we foresee there will be many forked coins of BTC. Binance does not support forking simply for the sake of forking.

We are constantly working on improving our platform, IOS / Androip apps, and rolling out new features. In regards to the web exchange UI I am curious to know if this occurs in Basic or Advanced view? Some have complained of basic running extremely slow while others have stated Advanced works just fine. This is another issue we will need to look into.

I've had many people asking about the dust issue on Binance.

I used to trade on Bitrex, but then I decided to start trading on Binance. Now I can not understand why I can not make a deal for all my capital? On my account there are always tenths or hundredths of coins

Actually it is the only thing i don't like about binance.

Why it is not allowing me using some little numbers. I know it doesn't worth too much but still, it has some value.

It's not only Binance that are 'guilty' of doing this but also on HitBTC and Cryptopia I have bits of dust left over from trades, like you said it's not worth much but I find it annoying.

Hitbtc and cryptopia is not that user-friendly exchanges. But binance is really giving value to customers happiness. And this little amounts making everyone annoyed. I hope they will change it one day.

Anyone else having issues with Binance desktop client being slow today? Even the candlestick graphs and buy/sell orders won't load at all but the website version still works (although still slow). The desktop app was working perfectly yesterday, something to do with a new update or server issue? Its unusable right now while everything else on my computer works perfectly fine.

This is worst exchange site I have ever seen. They asked me enable 2 FA Authentication to withdraw. Its okay, so I did it. Every thing worked well in the first day, then in the seconds day I no longer receive SMS code to login . I tried to contact supporters, it costed me 2 days to get response and what did I get? Nothing, they said that SMS will come later, LOL  I must wait again and I dont know when will they read my ticket to reset my 2 FA Authentication. What the hell of this service?

I think their was some up gradation happening due to which many of my friends also were facing this issue of lag or not able to login . But currently they are able to login and do trades as normal. Just delete the history and login back if it can solve your problem.

Just uninstalled, restarted computer, reinstalled, updated and still the same, its almost unusable at the moment. Still stuck in BTC pair column when I click ETH column and vice versa. Needs to be fixed asap as its not trustworthy at all in this state.

I think their was some up gradation happening due to which many of my friends also were facing this issue of lag or not able to login . But currently they are able to login and do trades as normal. Just delete the history and login back if it can solve your problem.

Please see my previous post, I deleted the entire app and reinstalled. Also its not a log in issue, that works fine, its an issue on the website and also on the desktop client where currency information, graphs and switching between currencies lags so bad that what you see on screen and make a decision based on isn't always what actually happens. It was fine a couple of days ago, now its got to the point where either are unusable. On top of that I have now decided to withdraw at least half of my funds so I can use them elsewhere as they are sitting useless in Binance, I am trying to withdraw with NEO and it has been stuck on 3 confirmations for an hour.

Hey mate I recommend using Google Authenticator - much easier to use and reliable. I had issues with SMS verification in the past as well. And don't get me started if you move to different country or want to log in from overseas. Just change your 2FA verification to Authenticator and you will be good to go.

Oh yes i have 2FA and i was succesfull withdrawing before. Then all of a sudden the limit just stopped resetting.

I'm going to have to use another exchange, orders are not showing up so they seem cancelled when I have tried to cancel them but in reality the lag has caused them to go through but not show any changes in balance. I cancelled a buy order and this happened, it showed my order was cancelled, showed no transactions history and showed my balances had not changed.

I then go to buy another coin later on in the day and I see my ETH balance is down, only then did the previous balances and trades show up, by then it was too late though, the coin had tumbled and I had lost a lot of money because of the lag of the binance desktop client. Its a shame because I like your app when its working but its unusable now for me, hope you get it fixed soon.

But what if the project is a real open source cryptocurrency project? Something like BTC. You know theres no CEO or Founder/Cofounder in BTC, right? Unless Satoshi Nakamoto came out of hiding and signed that form to list BTC, how can other smaller open source altcoins be listed in your exchange.

Yes we are fixing a lot of the issues. The servers are fine and can handle the traffic, it has more to do with display issues and bugs that are being fixed.

So far so good.
I've used several exchanges, say more than 5 of them but binance is the best for me.
The best feature for me is the app version which I don't find in some other exchanges. Next is the BNB coin that would make a cheap trading fee even cheaper. Third, is the ease using it. I can't explain furtehr but I find it more user-friendly than the other. Fourth is the fact that the exchange has great volumes than others.
The only negative I can say (which is not that totally negative) is about the dusts. I only knew about the purpose of BNB coin after some time using it and I have already bought some coins with dusts I can't sell.
To sum it up, I am giving binance a 9 out of 10 stars. I would rate other exchanges with 7 stars and below.

Has anybody been able to reset 2fa on Binance? I have been trying for a month and I always receive the same answer regarding the third photo (selfie with passport) "the photo is too vague". I have been very cautious to make a net and clear photo all the time on which the numbers and letters are clearly visible but its being impossible to be approved. If you don't want to set up a 2FA in your phone, you can just do what I suggested in your other post. Download an extension on your browser or a desktop based software that generates 2FA codes.

Exactly, that's why dumb and lazy people should not trade if they don't know what they are doing. Bitcoin or altcoins have no 2FA, only private keys. Exactly, that's why dumb and lazy people should not trade if they don't know what they are doing. Bitcoin or altcoins have no 2FA, only private keys. People who are able to deal with these, can deal with their passwords as well.
Those who write their passwords on the forehead should not accuse others for their fault.

Yeah, but they still do. That's why Binance does everything they can to make their account as safe as possible.

All of the following written communications represent legal matter.

Account got opened on January 2021, trading activity was smooth and no necessity to verify the account arised.

On 03/04 account's 2FA needed to be reset. Therefore we followed its process including ID verification.
However, as Binance CS knows well, this kind of verification do not verify the account.

Ten days later, on the 13/04, account's private keys got accidentay leaked on Github, while working on a group project.
Intruder succeded on stealing some funds, through low volume pair trading. Binance luckly suspended the account.

Costumer Support asked to prooced with account verification and provide a video showing full account login process.
All steps were completed correctly.

Since the verification held on 03/04 didn't leave any info, there was bit of confusion on who verified the account previosly.

Therefore, despite the correct video and verification, we erroneously breached ToS section 3, paragraph "a. Registration", regarding multiple accounts.


According to our Legal advisor, given no support during the past week, we seek a smooth resolution before escalating the case through a formal complaint and media attention.
