I say bitcoin is no. 1 in the cryptocurrency industry  in terms of popularity, safety, convenience and fastest all over the world. It is also the mother of all cryptocurrency it pave the way to other altcoins to join in the market.

Security, privacy and freedom to deal with your money are of greater importance for me.
If we talk about safe transfer speed, it is not the main advantage of bitcoin, as the speed is rather low and the fees for transactions are still rather high if compared with Ethereum, for example.
